Blogging From A to Z: Y is for …

Hola kitties! I'm participating in the Blogging A to Z Challenge! During my 10 years of blogging, I've been axed to pose with some crazy stuff. All this month I've been sharing some of those pics. No cat was harmed during the taking of these photos but a human may have been harmed. I was never put in any danger or made to do anything that would hurt me. Most of these image have never been posted before. My likeness was not photoshopped into any of the pics during this challenge. Today's letter is Y.

Blogging From A to Z: Y is for …

Y is for Yankees. NY Yankees to be precise. I'll bet you already guessed that. I mean, what else could it be? Since my peeps bleed Yankee pinstripes, I've done many photo sessions with their memorabilia. Here are just a few.

One of my favorites was the shoot and post with the oversize bong and popcorn bucket. The 24-oz. adult beverage that came in the bong was finished by the fifth inning and I'll bet so were they. NYY won the championship in 2009 and they didn't cheat with buzzers or by banging on trash cans. Pop and TW were at the game. Some of their players might have been juiced but players on other teams were doing the same. Two wrongs don't make a right but the fact is it didn't give them an advantage. Much.

Two years ago, I shared a bunch of baseball-themed songs. I thought those of you missing baseball this year may enjoy listening to them again. This is one of the pics from the shoot I did for that post. Notice TW knew better than to place that cat-size helmet on my head.

We want nothing else but to have our Yankees' play ball again but not in Arizona. We want them in the ball yard in da Bronx—even without fans—when it's safe enough for them to play. Most of all, we want it to be safe enough for life to continue for all the humans.

What do you think I'll be posing with for the finale, the letter Z?

  1. My father was a Yankees fan, even though we lived in Michigan...he grew up in New Jersey. Us kids would always josh with him about his allegiance to 'that team', while we all cheered for the Detroit Tigers.
My father has been gone for almost 20 years now; I'd love to be able to josh with him again!

  6. Have you heard their plans for the season? They want to consolidate both leagues and break them into three geographic divisions, start the season in July and run through October, then do the playoffs and World Series in November in a warm location, either Florida, Texas, or Arizona. What do you think of that?

  7. Hope they're back on the ballfield soon! May 17th for NASCAR's return!

  8. How could I have forgotten the Yankees? TW has a lot of Yankee's items. I am guessing a stuffed zebra for Z. XO
