Blogging From A to Z: B is for …

Hola kitties! I'm participating in the Blogging A to Z Challenge! During my 10 years of blogging, I've been axed to pose with some crazy stuff so all this month I'll be sharing pics of those crazy photo sessions. No cat was harmed during the taking of these photos but a human may have been harmed. I was never put in any danger or made to do anything that would hurt me. Most of these image have never been posted before. My likeness was not photoshopped into any of the pics during this challenge. Today's letter is B.

B is for banana. Pop eats bananas every day cos he has low potassium. TW bought extra big ones a few months ago and told me to pose with them. They were over a foot long and apparently size impresses her a lot more than it impresses me. I'd rather pose with a nip nanner cos it smells a lot better. Can you believe they make liquid cat meds in banana flavor but not tuna? Neither can I.

Bananas are not toxic to cats but you don't want to feed her too much. Like asparagus, they don't offer cats the nutrition that humans get from them. Be aware that cats can experience allergic reactions to bananas too. If your cat will eat them, frozen banana pieces can make good cat treats. At least she didn't use the shots where I was forced to pose with their beer which is toxic to cats.

I've posed with lots of items starting with C. What do you think I'll be posing with tomorow?

  1. CK, The Hubby and I eat bananas almost every single day! He cuts them up in our morning oatmeal, and I adore a banana & almond butter sandwich...yum!

  6. My human never thought of offering me any of her bananas! She gets them occasionally, and more than she needs so that when the leftovers get overripe she can make banana bread.

  9. Good to know bananas are not bad for cats, but I would have never thought to offer one to a cat, and no cat has ever insisted on helping me eat a banana - MOL!

  15. The pharmacy where we get Sawyer’s phenobarbital has tuna flavor. It is in northern Virginia. Our local pharmacy where we get his Keppra only has grape flavor. That’s ‘cause it is not a veterinary pharmacy. Those are some fine looking nanners. You are right, nip nanners are better. 16. Those bananas are a bit green for my humans. But we do like bananas. Two of our three hamsters love bananas. I've never tried one.
