Guess what? Today—or what's left of it—is my Gotcha Day and TW was too busy to let me post earlier. You read that right. At approximately 4 pm on January 29, 2006, I moved into the condo. I had nothing but the fur on my back and today I have a wealth of toys, cat trees and, best of all, furrends. You're furrendship and support means the world to this little ghetto kitteh. While I've tamed down a bit, I'm still keeping it real. Thursday night I tackled TW—twice. The first time I almost brought her down; the second I bit through to the bone right through her night clothes.

Yo! I'm here and I hope you are too! I'm gonna have stunning art! It will be the best. I'm gonna have artsy photography too. A few months ago I tried—and I regret to say failed—at making chalkboard art. This kitteh is not one to give up or I'd still be living on the streets of the ghetto. I have once again put chalk to graphite and this time I created a masterpiece.

I'm not gonna lie. These fotos are baaaaaaad. The worst. Two are way dark and in this one on top, I'm still three-quarters asleep. Very tired. This Frenzy is TW's worst nightmare. She's hoping none of her new photographer friends see them. Still, I wouldn't let her photo edit them in any way, shape or form. And, yes, be glad your human didn't take these works of art.
It's time once again to dip into the pamphlet called Happy Cat Happy You. These quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend are suggested by the authors at the Catnip Newsletter and compiled for Tufts Institute. This is a series that I'm running which is not sponsored by anyone. I'm just offering my stunning opinions.
Tip Nine deals with your litter box. Litter Box Success. They've offered their advice and I'd like to put in my two cents.
Yo! Word! Whatsup? You like my widdle pink tongue sticking out? Pop was giving me a workout. He rarely plays with me except early in the a.m. before he goes to work. Yesterday my peeps decided to work together to take photos for this week's Pet Photography Challenge. The theme is "A Lower Perspective." TW wanted to get some action shots but couldn't get down low and play with me at the same time. She isn't that nimble or talented like Summer's human.
Hola! As you can see by the fact that I'm not in my studio, I thought we'd do a different kind of art today. First I have a complaint about TW to get off my chest. Seems she's decided she's gonna spend more time on her own social media, meaning of course Facebook. This is not acceptable. I have tons more furrends and much more to share. I'm telling you here and now, Woman. No one cares about what you think. She better do right by this kitteh!

I went back to Hawaii cos my furrend King Kamehameha invited me to his big luau! What a feast!!! There were seafood delicacies from all the islands. The good news is thanks to Tiki Cat and Chewy you can enjoy the same feast in the comfort of your home. They have the Tiki Cat King Kamehameha Luau Variety Pack. Try to say that five times fast. All I know is I could eat a can of their Hawaiian Grill flaked ahi tuna faster than I can say that Kame-whatever name.

Disclaimer: Today's post is NOT about cats. If you came here to read about cats, I promise Wednesday's post will be all about feline feistiness. You can still enjoy some stunning images in this post. |
On the day we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, we also honor another great man of peace. Last week, NYC lost such a man; one who lived up to the legacy of Dr. King. In the age of Black Lives Matter, it may seem strange that a ghetto kitteh such as myself has chosen to honor a white man who also happened to be a cop. That man is NYPD Detective Steven McDonald.
Detective McDonald died of a heart attack last week. Tens of thousands of officers lined the streets of Manhattan stretching more than 10 blocks turning the streets into a sea of blue. Rumor has it, usually loud and bustling midtown was silent as the long funeral procession came up Fifth Avenue toward St. Patrick's Cathedral for this hero.
Hola and welcome to my studio. You've caught me in mid-painting. I just need to fill in the background with color. I don't want to be rude so let me innerduce my cousin Nickolette who has agreed to sit for me. Isn't she gorgeous? Just a little more work on the background and her portrait is complete. I'm honored that Nickolette has chosen me to paint her and hope I can do her justice! Nickolette is currently being spoiled by Aunt Pauline. The approximately 15-year-old kitteh had a rough start to life until she adopted Aunt Pauline 12 years ago.

Do you feel lucky on this Friday the 13th? I do cos you're all my furrends and you help me blog every Friday including today. The other day I told you about how TW went out to that meet and greet and stuff. Well, the night got more bizarre after they came home. About 10:40, the fire bells in the common hall started to blare. Pop guessed a pipe had burst somewhere in the complex and he was right. Those alarms kept blaring while FD was in da house. Finally they were reset. About an hour later, they sounded only once but that was enough to scare me and TW wide awake.
Woman, what the Hell-O Kitty is a "Washday Wednesday"? Something that you made up? Perhaps it's another excuse to show my "widdle" pink tongue. Whatever it is, I'm not approving it for publication.
This was supposed to be a post up to my standards; a wordy post but TW deserted me today. She had more important things to do. What could be more important then me?
So there I was, sleeping on the chair where I have the Easy Like Sundays with Pop. There was a commotion which caused me to awake from my slumber. Where was Fraser and why was Pop holding a huge "body bag." Oh no! Did he jump or was he pushed?
Oh dear. I think I goofed. I was so excited about today's art that I painted it right on the wall. There's no way I can sell it but I can't paint over it until I tell you about it and take some fotos. WHAT!! TW says she can't find the flashy box! How can she be so irresponsible? Forget I axed; I know how she can be so irresponsible.

The first Foto Frenzy of the year! Isn't it exciting! I guess it's good to start the year by looking back at the older fotos in our archives and remembering what I was up to years ago. What's even better is my furrends and readers pick random numbers. I match them up to the foto in my archive and publish it without any photoshopping. Some don't need any touching up like the above foto and some need a lot of work (see below).

TW has been shirking her responsibilities and taking liberties with my blog since Thanksgiving. I had been posting Monday, Wednesday, Friday and doing Caturday art. Take away Caturday and Friday Foto Frenzy and that leaves Monday and Wednesday as my only meaty posts for the week. Lately, we've been putting a post up late on Sunday like this one and she's been neglecting the Monday post. I promise I will be
