Aloha! Did you get my postcard? I went back to Hawaii cos my furrend King Kamehameha invited me to his big luau! What a feast!!! There were seafood delicacies from all the islands. The good news is thanks to Tiki Cat and Chewy you can enjoy the same feast in the comfort of your home. They have the Tiki Cat King Kamehameha Luau Variety Pack. Try to say that five times fast. All I know is I could eat a can of their Hawaiian Grill flaked ahi tuna faster than I can say that Kame-whatever name.

I got to sample everything on the luau table. I loved all the Ahi tuna but wasn't sure about the sardine steaks. I recoiled at first when I saw the fishy pieces complete with bones and skin. When the island boy cat brought them over a third time, I discovered I liked them. Hope I didn't put on weight. We love variety packs and wish more companies would offer them or at least make them available for review. Kitties don't like eating the same thing every day just like humans. It's also healthier to mix up proteins.

First there was this much food.

This pack of 12 2.8 oz. (what's that all about?) cans contains the same mouth-watering flavors I tasted at the luau: Hawaiian Grill, Lanai Luau, Tahitian Grill, Molokai Luau, Honolulu Luau, Waimea Luau, Waikiki Luau, Makaha Luau and Bora Bora Luau. What do all those names mean? Don't ax me although TW has noted that they've shrunk the 3-oz. can and charged a similar price to other brands that do put the full three ounces into a can which isn't so cool.

Fact: Tiki Cat was the first true gourmet pet food on the market featuring grain-free, human grade, whole shredded or sliced meats and seafood. This biologically-appropriate cat food is naturally formulated with added vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages. Those may be reasons why TK likes it but I like it cos it tastes good.

Then there was only this much food.

Also available is the Queen Emma Luau Variety Pack which contains chicken recipes as well as seafood. Try each of the variety packs while they're on sale. When you find the flavors you like best, your human can order a case of just those flavors from Chewy. Of course, if you're like me you'll keep ordering the variety packs.

I even brought TW a souvenir of my Hawaiian working vacay. The lei is for her; the food is for ME.

Don't forget that Chewy has great prices and great customer service and free one- or two-day shipping on orders over $49. Tell 'em CK sent you.

  1. Am I FIRST? Really? Well, prolly you will want to delete me and paw some nice Chewy-obtained litter right over me and I (well, my HUMAN) would deserve it! Still, I hope you don't--cause I do you love you and your stunning furs and claws and even teefs. You are very sexy when you're chowing down there--I am kind of a pate man myself. I know, it's weird. I mostly resist flaked stuff and food that looks too much like, you know, what it's actually *supposed* to look like. Those sardines! ::shudder:: Grind 'em up and I'll give 'em a go.
I do miss you my little darling. Why, do you know my Human was even talking to MomKat Trish on FB about (cover your shell-like little earsicles) taking a "break" from blogging. But I ask her: Isn't that what we've BEEN doing??? I mean, really. I'm lonely, CK--got an hour or two free??

  2. I wish I could get fish cat food... but my human only gets poultry and sometimes other meat flavors. Tiki does have a line of Carnivore Gourmet flavors that do include other things than fish.

  9. We like Tiki Cat but don't get to eat fish very often. They have some chicken ones that we get to eat.
