Welcome to another edition of 52 Snapshots of Life hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull and coming to you via Stunning Keisha. This is a challenge that you don’t need a blog to join. You can post on any social media using the hashtag #52Snapshots. This week’s theme is one near and dear to cats everywhere: spring. I, myself, have been known to bat a spring around and chase it.
Springs come 10 to a package and are usually found under couches, stoves, beds and TW’s feet, so you can never have too many of them. Springs come in all sizes and colors. No matter how bright they may be, TW eventually steps on and crushes every one of them. You might even remember my crushed green ball from last week. Even though she can’t walk past one of my toys without stepping on it, she usually can see me and doesn’t step on me. If she did, she’d get the worst of it. You can take that one to the bank.

Back in the days when Nicky and Autumn were the bosses around here, grain-free, natural cat food was a new concept. Those cats called it “hippie food” and any attempt to introduce it into their diet was met with resistance and floor scraping. It’s a whole new ballgame with CK in charge. I deserve the best! Supermarket cat food won’t do for this former ghetto kitteh turned internet sensation. Healthy cat food is the norm and Only Natural Pet® is leading the charge.
Happy Monday! Do I look happy in this pic? I don’t? Good cos I’m not, even though I’m standing with a new bag of kibble. TW isn’t thrilled either. We are happy that we don’t have to stress over what to blog about today. This blog just dropped down from the heavens and wrote itself.

What does the title to this post mean? Don’t ax me. Ax TW. I like to use song titles as my post titles especially on Caturday and this is a song by TW's favorite band, R.E.M., who also have an album titled Green. Thank Ceiling Cat I didn’t have to pose with it. Someone would have gotten bitten!

Cats wind up in shelters for a variety of reasons; most of which are human fails and shouldn’t reflect negatively on the cat. By “human fails” I mean life changes and not spending the time they should getting to know their cat. Divorce, moving, marriage and having a baby are NOT acceptable reasons to give up a furry family member. Other reasons such as litter box issues, scratching, biting, furniture scratching means that the cat is being ignored. They are also human fails. Allergies don’t count either cos TW is allergic to cats but she wouldn’t live without one. Cats are family members, not disposable property. The only good reason for a cat to be in a shelter is one born on the street such as myself.

There’s a double standard in this condo and it needs to be rectified. Immediately! I’m talking utensils. TW feels the need to segregate MY utensils from THEIR utensils. She keeps them separate. Their utensils are kept in a drawer; mine are in a cup.
Before I get to some St. Patrick Day jokes, I’d like to take you for a short stroll down memory lane with TW—or as we call her today Pattie O’Furniture.
Yippee! TW is letting me do a selfie cos I’m not posting tomorrow. I’m gonna do a St. Paddy’s Day post on Tuesday instead.
After I took this selfie, I used the thumbs I don’t have and clicked on Instagram where I could use all kinds of cool filters. I prolly should have played but I clicked on one and called it a day.

As a cat, I don’t travel well so when I saw this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life theme was travel, I wondered how I was gonna pull it off. If anything, I’m sly and resourceful. However, I’m starting with my art submission for Athena and Marie’s Caturday Art Blog Hop since the Snapshot
I got the menu here. What should we order? |
Hi-Ho and welcome to Hump Day. I’m getting ready to order takeout. Wednesday used to be pizza day in the condo but since this Lent thing started, everything is topsy and turvy and definitely not to The Cat’s liking. The Cat doesn’t like pizza. The Cat likes Chinese food hence the Chinese menu.
I’m gonna get right to the point of this post. As you know, there is a litter box in Pop’s bathroom. That litter box belongs to ME. I try to monitor what goes on in there at all times. Sometimes, however, naps take priority and he is left to his own devices. In other words, he’s on the honor system. Perhaps I’ve been wrong to trust him.
We’re already up to week 10 on the 52 Snapshots of Life themed photo challenge. This week’s theme is near and dear to my heart—Mischief. I can be a mischievous kitteh indeed but how do you capture mischief in a photo? TW knew which pic we were gonna use cos this is one of her favorite pics of me.
There are only three Foto Frenzy choices left. If you picked a number and didn’t see it, it probably means I’ve run it already. You can see the Foto Frenzies’ archive in the tab above. I’m gonna need you to shout out some other numbers between 2 and 4582. Someone picked #1 a long time ago. We’d like to keep this feature going and I’d hate to let TW pick ‘em cos you know she’ll cheat. She’s cheated already by lightening some original fotos before she adds them to our foto folder.

What’s for dinner? It better have meat or tuna. |

A few year’s ago, I attempted to start a blog hop called Senile Saturday but no one signed up. That’s ok
