It means that if I’ve used a product and liked it, or it's a company I buy from and trust and they have affiliate programs, I sign up. Then, when I mention that product or company in one of my blog posts, I use my affiliate link. I thank you for clicking the links to help my treat fund.
Welcome to my studio. I always appreciate having company while I work. Let me turn down the music so we can hear each other. Even the great masters such as myself can learn new techniques. Case in point.
Everything happens on Pop's bed especially when he's not around. I do most of my foto shoots there because his room has the only good natural lighting in the condo. Yesterday's shoot was done on Pop's bed. She took like 40 fotos and used two and I didn't even get treats until much, much later. Anyhoo, I got lots to tell you today as we feature some flashback fotos and I provide some insightful fill-in answers.
Today is Remember Me Thursday. Our friends at the Helen Woodward Animal Center want everyone worldwide to remember those cats who died in shelters never having known a real home and to shine a light on those homeless cats still looking for a forever home.
TW says that not only am I the most stunning cat she's ever had but I'm the funniest. I take exception to that. I dunno why she laughs when we play. I think maybe she's one fry short of a happy meal. Whoa, now I'm hungry. I'm gonna ax your opinion cos I trust you.
Two weeks ago, as TW was heading home from shopping, she spied what looked like a cat "turkeyed" on the sidewalk near a fence. What a strange sight! Cats don't usually sit out in the open especially not a block from an elementary school. As TW approached, the cat got up, walked up to her and rubbed against her legs. He was smallish in stature and painfully thin and malnurished. TW thought, well, this isn't a feral cat but it has no collar ergo someone must have dumped him from a car.
She comes in colors everywhere / She's bald with hair / She's a rainbow!! No, I didn't just hit a sour note and those are the real words. I could be singing or I could be yawning. I'm closing up my art show for the night. The lights are all out except I have my works of art backlit. It helps bring out the already vivid colors.
It's Friday again. You'd think I'd be happy but do I look happy to you? It's been a long week at the condo. The other day they shut our water off an hour before they promised they would so TW couldn't fill any containers or even wash her face. It's been showery and downcast all week cos of José. The Red Sox refuse to lose and that doesn't make the peeps happy. Oh, and this week's fill-ins are kinda hard and require too much thought for this little kitteh. In those fill-ins, I'll hint about the other thing that's been taking much of TW's time away from ME. Fasten your seat belts cos we're starting the show.
TW pulled a good one last week. The temperature was going up into the low '80s and she had to close the windows cos the Mexicans were pawtying instead of working on the building next door. She turned the thermostat on. I couldn't wait to feel the a/c on my furs.
She wasn't feeling all that well and, of course, it was all The Cat's fault for keeping her awake all night. She thought she was feeling hot because of how lousy she felt or maybe she was getting some late hot flashes.

Today I'd like to write to remind you of a very important date. As a former street and shelter cat, I'd like to get as many furrends as I can involved with this great cause. September 28 aka Remember Me Thursday® will be here before you know it.
I have to keep my voice low cos I'm posting from the Hoity Toity Museum where I've hung my art. I want to thank you all for the blogoversary wishes yesterday. It means a lot to me. I've hung my art in this museum but I don't think they appreciate it. Could it be cos I hung it over one of their "art" pieces? They've got all these "famous" people hanging on the walls—not the people but painting with the people's faces on them. I dunno who Frida is but I'm photobombing her. My image is prolly the most famous one hanging there and they should be thanking me.
Somehow It just seems right to have a Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy with Friendly Fill-Ins today. Try saying that fast a few times. On September 15, 2009, a new cat blog was born called The World's Most Stunning Cat. We've shortened the name of the blog even though I'm still the world's most stunning cat. No big pawty for number eight but it's worth mentioning. I'm not going to get into how and why this blog started since I recently did that. This is my 1,410th post and I thank you for the 33,492 comments we've received from our readers. I dunno how much longer we will continue but I hope you'll stay along on the journey. Now it's business as usual.
My readers have probably guessed by now that I am smarter than the average cat. Still there are some things that baffle me. Most center on TW since I spend the most time with her and she's—how do I say this politely—kinda odd. That wasn't polite but it's to the point. I could have said eccentric.
So what I'm wondering today is …

Every September 11 since I started blogging I’ve rerun this piece Pop wrote because, thankfully, I have new readers who may not have read it. Although over a decade and a half have past since these terrorist attacks, both Pop and TW can recall the events of that terrifying day as if it was yesterday. Both worked in New York City at the time. It's a long post and I thank anyone who reads it.
It's not "old news" for those in 2017 still suffering life-threatening illnesses from breathing the air at Ground Zero or the children living in lower Manhattan who were exposed to chemicals released while the buildings burned. Those children are showing early signs of heart disease risk.
With all the natural disasters—floods, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, fires in the west, earthquake in Mexico—it's easy to forget that this is the anniversary of an unnatural disaster. An act of war. Planes struck both towers of the World Trade Center in NYC, the Pentagon and one was downed in Shanksville, PA. Over 3000 people were killed. Among them were innocent people at work doing their jobs and first responders from FDNY, NYPD and Port Authority cops. It's easy for those not in the tristate area to focus on what's going on now and consider the events of 9/11 old news.

When I was blogging about May's BlogPaws' conference that I sent TW and Plush CK to, I mentioned how they did everything but attend seminars where she could acquire knowledge and learn stuff to make this blog better. One of those "fun" things she did was participate in the Paint and Sip sponsored by the Red Roof Inn. She signed up to just sip but in one of life's great tragedies ironies wound up painting and not sipping. She did have fun so I guess that's something.
She hated her painting and I don't blame her cos I hate it too. Recently I decided to take a closer look at this eye sore in ourotherwise spotless—ha ha, did I just actually say that?—condo. Just pretend this is my studio but this definitely isn't my art.

Another week shot to hell-o kitty, as the peeps would say without the word kitty or the o, of course. We have all the features you want to see: flashback fotos in the guise of our Foto Frenzy and the Friendly Fill-Ins. This post is jam-packed with facts you might not know about this little ghetto kitteh so keep reading.
Whoa! How nice that you're joining me today. Let me explain a bit about today's ultra-stunning photo. I'm taking a much-needed timeout after playing the entire first half. Oh wait; that's basketball or football and I'm playing wand toy.
Happy Caturday kittehs! I'm happy cos I'm creating art. I've also painted my studio a pretty pinkish color. You like? As you can see, I've sketched my design and now I'm about to paint it.
September is National Disaster Preparedness Month and it just so happens the residents of Texas, particularly Houston and surrounding areas, are in the midst of the worst hurricane perhaps ever. Harvey has dumped more than 50 inches of rain in some parts of Texas and I hope the residents had a disaster preparedness plan that included their cats and other anipals. I've seen disturbing pics on FB of people's pets being turned away at shelters. If you'd like to help, Austin Pets Alive! needs fosters and donations cos they've taken many shelter animals from the affected areas, saving hundreds of precious lives. Another fun way to help is through the Auction for Austin Pets Alive organized by the wonderful Marjorie at the Dash Kitten blog. You can donate items at the auction's Facebook event page!
