From Pop's Bed, CK Shares Her Opinions

Everything happens on Pop's bed especially when he's not around. I do most of my foto shoots there because his room has the only good natural lighting in the condo. Yesterday's shoot was done on Pop's bed. She took like 40 fotos and used two and I didn't even get treats until much, much later. Anyhoo, I got lots to tell you today as we feature some flashback fotos and I provide some insightful fill-in answers.

From Pop's Bed, CK Shares Her Opinions

In foto #5183 from May 2015, I was preparing to send TW and Plush CK off to the Blogpaws' conference. We'd just received my new business cards, designed with the help of the wonderful Glogirly Designs. TW needed my approval before she could use them. I may look apprehensive but I gave the A-OK. She thought she could get some decent shots to post on the blog but we wound up scrapping the idea. Thank you to Dad Kevin from Animal Shelter Volunteer Life for providing this flashback.

From Pop's Bed, CK Shares Her Opinions

An unmade bed is the devil's work and a cat's dream come true. Plus it's a nice place to dream away the day. Aunt Pauline chose #88 about a year ago but the foto is from March 2009. This is Pop's bed and he's waiting for TW to take his sheets and throw them in the machine. I beat her to it. She doesn't have the heart to get me to move or maybe she's smart and doesn't want to feel my wrath. You can see my unoccupied cat bed sitting there with the hopes I'll decide to sleep in there. Not. A. Chance. That stuffie looks pretty comfy over on the rocker too. Sundays are made for sleeping.

From Pop's Bed, CK Shares Her Opinions

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader and I'm happy to participate. My answers are truthful, so help me Cod. I can't speak for TW since she lies a great deal. That's why most answers are my own.

1. I am far too nice to the peeps. Lately I don't bite them enough. They're getting complacent.

2. To save money, I do product reviews even though most of the time I don't get paid except in product. Those products do save us money. I'm most proud I got TW a really cool air cleaner she couldn't afford. If you use our affiliate link, I could afford to buy other stuff too.

3. Your opinions matter(s). You might think they don't but if you feel strongly about something, don't just complain on social media. If you call your representatives, shelter or whoever you're upset with, you may help to bring about the change you want plus you'll feel a sense of accomplishment.

4. Sometimes reading social media makes me think humans are real jerks. They don't listen to others and are quick to judge.

Binga is disappointed in you, CK - you need to bite your humans more! The other day, she bit my human's boyfriend on the lip. And he didn't even care!

I particularly agree with #3 and #4. Opinions do matter, but since everyone has them, it takes more than just that. As the great Mahatma Gandhi said, "BE THE CHANGE you wish to see in the world." DO something, and I don't mean this quiet defiance. Actually make a positive movement toward changing what you feel is wrong. And, as you probably guessed, #4 goes with that. I truly do not like most social media because of the negativity I read there. I know there are some who do not subscribe to my way of thinking, but, that's okay. They can "resist". I would rather make positive change. Namasté.

Real Cat Webster bites me all the time; it's how I know he loves me (I think). Anyhow, you should definitely bite more! Humans can be jerks on social media. That's why I mostly follow cats. Cats mostly just post cute pictures of themselves, and I never get tired of that! :)

Are you mellowing with not biting as much? Sometimes I couldn't make the bed until almost bedtime so as not to disturb Flynn.

Great flashback photos CK. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. You better not soften on the peeps too much. I think you are correct with #4, most humans are like that. Have a nice weekend! XO

Maybe you're getting nicer as you age, CK...sorta like a fine wine. :)

We do a lot of product reviews, too. We have gotten some really cool stuff that way. One of the companies loves the videos. We can't afford most of the stuff we try. Have a blessed week.

Excellent pics CK. Your fill=ins are clever. We all relax with the biting after awhile. The peeps here know I am boss...they just don't act that way.

That air cleaner was a good score! We think social media brings out both the best, and worst of humanity.
