C is for crayons. There were several choices for C—chocolate, candy and coffee just for starters. TW decided to use something that wasn't food since A and B were food. Being as I'm a cat artist and I've featured some coloring pages, I thought I'd try my paw at coloring.
Do you think I made the right choice for C? What do you think I'll be posing with for the letter D?
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They're both participating in the A to Z Challenge too. They come up with the fill-ins and my answers are underlined and in italics. Any further comments are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one.
1. April is a good time to get window whiffies. TW likes to air out the condo. I don't like the new windows so I don't know if I'm gonna be hangin' but it's a good bet when I smell that fresh air, I'll come running.
2. This time last year, we were watching the Yankees on tv. In fact on this date last year, the peeps were prolly at the Stadium for Calendar Day. They like getting free stuff as if they don't pay a fortune for tickets first. This year there's no baseball or any sports cos of this crony-virus that Verona started. She best pack her bags and leave soon so the season can begin.
3. I am determined to keep Verona out of the condo and keep my peeps safe. I'm also determined to get some of that turkey breast lunch meat that the peeps have been hiding on me. I'm gonna keep jumping on the table at lunch time to look for it too.
4. I have no intention of not finishing the A to Z Challenge this month.
I've been trying to decide if I should post art during the Challenge or just give a link to an art puzzle. For now, I'll post my art. If it means anything, the creator of this filter's name begins with C. I call this "20-Second Paw Wash." During the search for images this past month, I've found many a fail to use for art. This is one.

I really like your art today - it looks like it was created with a pallet knife instead of an art app.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of crayons! I had been thinking of food items so that makes D harder to guess.I love the strong colours in your art, and thanks for the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI admire the fact you are still blogging through this! Most days I can't even bring myself to blog and some days I don't even want to sign on to read them either :( Well done YOU! I totally thought it was going to be a food theme. So now I have no guesses for D! Good job on #3 - you keep that Verona out!
ReplyDeleteLove the art! Mudpie has already been enjoying window whiffies even though it's still chilly. We'd love to be watching NASCAR right now too.
ReplyDeleteThat was a terrific C, but CK is terrific too! Happy hunting for that turkey and I enjoyed your fill-in answers, have a whiffie for me!
ReplyDeleteI forgot that you are posting everyday. My guess for "d" is dog. Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteThe crayons were purrfect to pose with along with your coloring page, and your art today is just as stunning as you are. Needs to be printed and sold on canvas. We are all praying super hard that we can keep the stoopid virus from coming to our house. You all stay safe. ReplyDeleteWe love your art and your crayons!
ReplyDeleteCK, are you and these crayons giving us a behind-the-scenes view of the beautiful art you create? You're probably a pro with all art media, though. And your fill-ins are fantastic! That Verona better leave you and your peeps alone. Or else!
