Something Old, Something New

We have a winner! #5068

Whoa! Am I excited! It’s time for a new round of Foto Frenzy. We have some older fotos and one that’s recent. I think I’m gonna do them in the order they were received rather than trying to make sense of it. This could be dangerous but danger is this Kitteh’s middle name. For those new to the blog, we have a hopeless chronological foto filing system. We can never locate a specific foto when we need one but it’s neat that I can share unedited fotos that fell beneath the cracks once a week. You pick a number and I’ll post the corresponding foto.

I always worry that we won’t be able to lead with a stunning foto that will encourage the masses to stop by and view this blog. Thanks to Summer at Sparklecat, I don’t have that problem this week. Summer opted on #5068. You can tell by the look on my face this is a posed foto. I did not want to be here. I was writing a post about how much I loved to chase asparagus spears so here I am with one growing out of my cheek like a green whisker. She sure knows how to set up a foto shoot.

Princeton and the Prancer Pie gang are getting their wish. They wished for #621 cos that’s their Mom’s birthday. This dark, mysterious foto was taken by the light of one lone lamp to my left. (Whoa, I did me some alliteration!) It was taken on Pop’s armoire. This was after they moved it. When I first moved here, the armoire was part of a perfect setup. I could jump easily on Pop’s dresser, walk across the top of his boxy tv and climb on the armoire. Then TW—you knew she had to be the culprit—told Pop they should rearrange the room cos it would look better on the other wall. She figured I could see out the window. Pushover Pop agreed but I still don’t like it over there. It’s way too hard to jump all the way up top as I get older.

#1986 was the choice of Travis over at Lone Star Cats. Don’t readjust your reading glasses; it’s TW’s cracked fotography. She was focusing on the shower curtain and not me. Don’t ax me why. Actually, since I resized it, it doesn’t look half as bad. Back in the days before TW’s shower curtain rack fell down, I loved to hide behind the blue curtain and peek out. I also loved to make holes in the curtain. It was a hobby of mine. I wonder if that’s why she hasn’t installed a new one. Her loss cos she can’t take a shower no more.

That’s all we have room for this week but we’ll have another Foto Frenzy in seven days. Maybe your number will come up. Meanwhile, enjoy your weekend and don’t let your humans move your furniture around.
