Snuggly Wuggly Isn’t Me

No one on God’s green Earth has ever excused me of being cuddly or Snuggly. I don’t do cuddly or Snuggly so this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life challenge was indeed challenging. TW suggested I use a pic of one of the Cats Who Came Before Me. You know that ain't gonna happen. Every time I post about one of them losers, my blog numbers and comments are in the toilet. I will face this challenge head on!

I know I’ve been doing a lot of sleeping on this blog lately but—hey—we’re in the midst of a heat wave. Plus it’s the only way I can show the theme cos the only thing I knead is my cat bed. The one above was the original bed I had and it's still my favorite. I’d knead it and then I’d settle in all Snuggly. The peeps threw it out just cos it was old and the padding was broken. I knead my new bed too but it’s larger so I can’t get as Snuggly in it.

I can also get Snuggly on Pop’s sheets and clothes. They’re so nice and warm and they have Pop’s smells on them. [Ed note: is that a good thing?] Woman, Close your trap and type what I tell you.

It’s now time for me to show you some good art. About two weeks ago—before we even saw this theme—we arted this picture where I may or may not be getting all Snuggly with HHGutt. Trust me, I’m not Snuggly even with the stuffies, especially not HHGutt; but TW likes to pretend I am. She took this blurry foto at night sans flash and first we created an ultra sharp image using a PhotoShop paint action.

Then we decided to make our painting into a sketch which I like much better. OK, I’ll admit it. I drawed that in pencil and charcoal. I may have gone too heavy on the whiskers over my eyes but I’m not about to do it over. I am one talented kitteh, aren’t I?

I will tell you a secret, CK - although I am a very affectionate kitty, I am not particularly cuddly! I like to do that on my own time, and when I want to - which never seems to be at the same time my human goes grabbing for me, MOL!

I bet your Pop's sheets and clothes, with his smell on, are the best spot to get snuggly :-)

I quite like snuggling, myself, BUT... But that Anderson is a snuggly pro. Basically, he's a suck up with the peeps. MOUSES!

Hi! I'm not snuggly either except I have been enjoying tummy rubs and pets more lately. You look lovely and quite comfy in that top pic.

You know, for our first art picture, the lady wanted to a pencil sketch like yours but couldn't quite make it look good. We like yours a lot!

We're glad to be a late poster, if only to see all these funny comments about snuggling! Everyone has their own opinion about it! As for us, we believe snuggling is a religion but we believe in "free choice" - i.e., we get to snuggle when WE want to....irrespective of human's wishes. But hey it all works out in the end...
