Blogging From A to Z: T is for …

Hola kitties! I'm participating in the Blogging A to Z Challenge! During my 10 years of blogging, I've been axed to pose with some crazy stuff. This month I'm sharing some of those pics. No cat was harmed during the taking of these photos but a human may have been harmed. I was never put in any danger or made to do anything that would hurt me. Most of these image have never been posted before. My likeness was not photoshopped into any of the pics during this challenge. Today's letter is T.

T is for turkey. Chocolate turkey, that is. My peeps have been chocoholics for as long as I've known them. Almost every year until the last few, there is either a gigantic choco turkey or Easter bunny and I've had to pose with them every year. Like I need this. Chocolate is toxic to cats so I can't even enjoy it. I wish they'd let me pose with the REAL turkey. I could get excited over that! No one would have to drag me kicking and screaming to pose.

The lead image shows a session from many years ago. These are more recent. Both the pic above and below are from the same year but TW didn't like the way the first set came out so she decided to try again. These "puppies" are about 4 lbs and as big as I am. I'm glad I'm not hollow though.

This one would have been perfect had the calendar not been under the turkey. We did the calendar shoot the same afternoon and she somehow thought it a good idea to use it to rest the choco on. Last year, there was no choco turkey and no choco bunny this Easter.

We're getting to the hard letters. What do you think I'll be posing with for the letter U?

  1. You know, I was gonna guess you were going to pose with a chocolate turkey yesterday! I would have been right too. My human doesn't eat these, but she sure did get an urge for chocolate cake yesterday! So when she went off to get some OTC meds for her back strain, she also picked up a slice of chocolate cake. She ate half when she got home, and now the other half is waiting for her dessert tomorrow!

  2. The chocolate turkey has me wanting chocolate now! Since we have been sheltering at home we haven't been out at all so haven't been able to get chocolate.
The last 2 weeks I have been finding bars of chocolate in my letterbox and no-one who comes to do their horses knows anything about it. It is a mystery, but a good one.

  3. I recall receiving a chocolate turkey in my Easter basket as a kid, but not one that big!
The Hubby LURVs really dark, DARK chocolate...it's sorta bitter to me, but that doesn't keep me from sneaking a spoonful of his concoctions...!
