The peeps have a strange way of setting the table. Why would they place the plates upside down? Can you guess what reason they gave me??

Yeah, they threw The Cat under the bus. They said they "had a cat who thought nothing of jumping on the table and sitting in their plates or sitting on their utensils."
More fake news. I dunno about you, but I would think sitting on the business end of a fork would be mighty uncomfortable. I can't see a cat perched there. Also, I may walk through their plates or put my tail in them but I most definitely don't sit in them.

As if I'd ever sit on the table. |
If you came for some body parts music, here's Charlotte, North Carolina's Fetchin' Bones singing about one of my favorite things in the world—chicken. And yes, bones is the body part. TW saw them in Nashville when they were R.E.M.'s opening act. Before the show TW and her posse ran into the band when they both toured the clothing shop where Elvis bought his clothes in the early days.
I'm participating in this week's Music Monday blog hop co-hosted by Curious as a Cathy. Michele from AngelsBark chose the prompt Body Parts in Song Titles.
Plates upside down, hahaha!! I don't get up on a table usually. The housekeeper gives me so much grief, it's just not worth it! Have a good week, CK!
ReplyDeleteThe chicken won't stay on those upsidedown plates long CK, cool tune though!
ReplyDeleteIn my view kitty hair is a condiment. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteI'd not heard that video before.
Have a fabulous day and week. ♥
Ouch, sitting on a fork does not sound like a fun thing to do! Surely your humans are mistaken. You seem like such an intelligent purrrson but you know humans are ridiculously picky so don't take it purrsonally. I have not heard of Fetchin' Bones but thank you for the introduction and it's great having you on the 4M dance floor. Have a boogietastic day!
ReplyDeleteCK; wadday meen one oh yur fave o rite thingz in de werld iz chckn... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa we troo lee dinna reed what we saw....N next time de platez like that; give uz a ring; we can tell ya how to fix that problem ;) ♥♥☺☺
ReplyDeleteMy human always loves your musical choices, CK!
ReplyDeleteCK, Da Boyz just jump up and try to steal stuff from our plates! Every once in a while, we must lock them up in another room, so the humans can eat without fighting off cat paws every second.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't think that for a minute, CK! Why would they try and blacken your name?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Fetchin' Bones, but a lot of US bands are not well known here and vice versa.
Fun band! The upside down plate thing is a great idea - thank your humans for the tip - MOL!
ReplyDeleteMudpie used to get on the table all the time but over the past couple months she has stopped. It kind of concerns me why...I can't help but think she must've gotten hurt jumping down at some point yet she's never limped or anything.
ReplyDeleteVery unique song choice- bones are definitely part of the body :) XO
ReplyDeleteYou mean your peeps have a problem with cats sitting on their plates? We see nothing wrong with it!
ReplyDeleteEw, sitting on the business end of a fork, not a good plan!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm really sorry you didn't get the notice about the body parts theme moving from back then to now. I had a lot of life shit going on and just couldn't fulfill my obligation and had to push my theme month ahead (or back, however that goes).
Anyway, thanks for including the link to your body parts post. I just checked it out and you had some very unique and new-to-me songs and artists!
It was cool to hear some old Velvet Underground; and R.E.M.'s "Tongue" is interesting. I appreciated all the funky songs you turned me onto but I gotta say, the best part of your body parts post back then, in my opinion, was this:
"I'll say that I've bitten TW's eye, Pop's tongue and both of their lips and noses although I don't have a nose song today. MOL! I just love my peeps. They taste like chicken."
I cracked up when I read your line "They taste like chicken." hahaha Love it!
Speaking of chicken, thanks for doing a body part song for this post too! Fetchin' Bones: what a great band name!
okay, just want to be sure you know that my other theme (Heaven & Hell) will be in two weeks. You didn't do that theme back then too, did you? I don't know because I dropped off the face of the earth practically. I wasn't around at all for a few months.
Have a great week.

Eww! I would probably turn my plate upside down as well! Sorry, but(t) it's true.
ReplyDeleteWhat?!? What's a plate without a butt print?!? You could've done a post about body parts you've bitten. Just saying ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat table?...MOL :D Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteWOW where did that band come from? They were Fantastic. I had to look them up. They really should have hit it big, no lie! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteYour two-leggers are genius setting the table that way! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the introduction to a new to me tune - I enjoyed it very much! :)
