I've never been but I'm all set to go on a plane because Smiling Paws Pets sent me their new TSA-approved pet carrier. I'm off to some distant shore on my next adventure. Before I take off, let me tell you about my new pet carrier.
The Expandable Soft-Sided Pet Carier from Smiling Paws Pets holds pets up to 15 lbs. To TW it looks small but it's actually a good size: 17” x 11” x 9” (L/W/H) (All sides closed) and 34” x 25” x 9” (L/W/H) when expanded. The PTU folds flat and comes with it's own case for easy storage.
I'm kinda embarrassed to say it took TW longer than it should have to zip it all together but soon we were in business. TW doesn't do well with zippers and there are a heck of a lot of zippers cos the carrier opens from the top, side and front and expands on all four sides.
While the interior looks to be comfy and the carrier is extremely well made, there's no way the peeps will get me in here to visit Dr. D. but that's just me. This carrier is strong and durable with A Grade metallic clips, high quality rods, safety self-locking zippers and an internal leash. In addition, the internal fabric is laminated & leak-proof as if I would soil it but maybe a woofie would. I think TW really likes the side pocket so she can take along a pad to take notes.
Check out these pawsome features:
A lot of thought went into the design of this PTU.
There's more:
- Expandable on all four sides
- Convertible (top open)
- Airline approved
- Internal leash
- Zipped side pocket
- Luggage handle
- Rotating metallic clips
- Self-locking zippers
- Washable pad
I have a special offer for readers of this blog. Use the code 4L8BYUDV for 25% off the list price of the Smiling Paws Pets 4-Way Expandable Airline Approved Soft Sided Pet Carrier which is only available on Amazon. This code is good until June 15 so act now.
While the Smiling Paws Pets’ Expandable Soft-Sided Pet Carrier is TSA-approved and would be purrfect for a trip to visit Aunt Karen in Florida, it's also purrfect for a trip to the stabby place. Unfortunately.
Bon voyage! I won't forget to send a postcard!
That looks like an awesome carrier! Of course, we already have, like 7 carriers here.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great carrier. My cat would like the extra room.
ReplyDeleteHope you get a chance to travel in your new PTU, CK! And I mean to someplace fun, not the stabby place...
ReplyDeleteI really like that one a lot CK but I think I'm over the weight limit...oops!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great carrier. It's good to have something that kitties like too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Nice carrier, thanks for the great review CK, I think you covered all areas of concern nicely.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice looking carrier. Have fun on your trip. XO
ReplyDeleteThat carrier looks pawsome ! Great review ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThis looks a great carrier. Airline approved and flexible. If a cat needs a bit more room while waiting for a flight you can just unzip a bit which is tremendous!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a helpful review, and now we are tempted!
I really hope that carrier takes you someplace fun, not the stabby place!
ReplyDeleteFor the money, that is one excellent PTU!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great carrier. We basically just travel to the vet and we hope we don't need to go again any time soon. We have about 6 carriers around our house!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great carrier, CK. We know, it's sort of an oxymoron, huh?
ReplyDeleteWe got one of these to review, and we think it provides first class accommodations for us, and the price is so reasonable XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteGreat review, as always, CK! We think this is a great carrier and love new top-loading option. It will be much easier to get our cats in that way.
