Hola kitties! Have you began to think about what you want for Christmas? Soon the heavy-set human with the red suit and white beard will be breaking into your house to leave all sorts of toys under your tree. If you're like me, you'll tie him up and ransack his bag and take what you want. HAH! Even if you don't celebrate Christmas like DJ CK does, I hope you'll get gifts for whatever holiday you celebrate.
Hola kitties! Are you ready for DJ CK to play a few amazing tunes? I like participating in the Monday Music blog hop but you know what this kitteh isn't quite down with? Those freebie weeks when we get to choose our own prompts. There are just so many songs and themes that float through my stunning head. After trying to settle on a theme all week, last Thursday a few songs presented themselves that were new to me although they shouldn't be.
Hola kitties! Back when I was a Twitter dj, we used to have themes for our pawties. Many of the themes were hard to fill an hour with songs fitting the theme. One week the theme was "Cowboys and Indians." I knew which side I was on but I was worried I wouldn't have enough music to fill an hour. The town I live was once the territory of the Hackensack and Tappan, of the Turtle Clan, or Unami, a branch of the Lenni Lenape.
Hola Kitties! We are again participating in the annual BlogBlast 4 Peace. This is the 13th year for one of my favorite blogging events. I've been doing my part since 2011. Mimi Lenox, the founder, wanted to know what would happen if the entire blogosphere posted about world peace on the same day using the same title—Dona Nobis Pacem. It hasn't changed the world—yet—but it's provided some creative and wonderful images of peace. The theme this year is Change Your Climate. If you've been listening to Greta Thunberg, you've heard some powerful truths about our environment; our climate.

Hola kitties! Do you know what today is? It's Music Monday but it's also Women's Equality Day. I'm a woman cat but I consider myself not equal to but better than humans of any gender. I am kitteh, hear me roar! What kind of music should DJ CK play this week?
Hola kitties! DJ CK here with you. Bet your wondering why I'm drinking a beer on the job. A root beer, that is, as opposed to one of Hank's Bacon Beers. The peeps haven't drank soda in years but when they did they drank birch beer. In fact you might remember the Great Birch Beer Caper. (TW tried to play with the original post and mucked it all up.) Fact: this can of root beer contains 45 grams of sugar which is equal to 11 tsps and none of the sassafras root that originally gave root beer it's flavor.
Hola kitties! Did you know about the Cat Days of Summer? Does anyone really know when these dog cat days are? Some say they are the 40 days beginning July 3 and ending August 11, which coincide with the dawn rising of Sirius, the Dog Star. TW always taught me they run from the day before her birthday to Gramma's birthday—July 12 to August 20—which around here are the hottest days of the summer. Why am I telling you all this?
Holla kitties! I've been sitting here forever waiting for a special call. Who? You may ax. I'm not saying. I'm just saying that this phone hasn't rung all day except all those robo calls. The phone company is gonna have to do a better job of blocking those calls. We have Nomorobo and they just keep coming. Those spoofers gonna get bit for this cos I'm running outta patience.
