Feral Friday: Snuffles, Sniffles & Sneezes

Hola kitties! *snuffle* How was your week? I dodged a bullet the other day. *kachooo* A bullet of the v-e-t kind. Every once in a while I get these sniffles. I guess they're allergy attacks. For days I'll be congested. I'll snuffle into my wet food when I try to eat it. The last one I had was accompanied by a trip to the stabby place where I was checked over and deemed to be in good health. Dr. H. suggested  *kachoo kachoo* that I might have some furz caught in my nose. What, TW, I shouldn't say too much until we innerduce the Friday Flashback and so the readers have to read the rest of the post. Ok, you guys heard that.

This flashback is from July 2017 but this is kinda how I looked on Memorial Day. I didn't get out of bed all day. Usually I love being around the peeps. I didn't get up to eat and hardly ate any treats either. TW kept bringing my food and HydraCare in to me.

This brings me to this photo shoot. I used to sleep on the pillow until I started hanging my head over the side which TW thought was causing me to get asthma attacks. Now I get to lay directly on the pillow-top mattress with the pillow propping me up. It's a comfy arrangement so I won't quibble.

Even though I wouldn't take any pred, I'm doing much better. *Knocks on TW's wooden head.* For the most part, the snuffles and sniffles have passed about the same time a hairball popped out.

Friendly fill-ins

Let's answer some of Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the correct answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to numbers two through four.

1. I am looking forward to my birthday this month. I turn 18 on June 27th.

2. I am in need of a new vet. Actually as the Blues Bros sung I have everything I need (almost). One thing I do need is a new vet. Dr. D. left for SC and now Dr. H. is AWOL and TW doesn't like the other vet that owns the clinic. She doesn't think I'd like her either as she treats mostly dogs. I'd just gotten used to Dr. H. who is taking her own sweet time finding another gig.

3. TW's bed is my go-to bed to sleep at night and when I'm not feeling well. Usually I love to hang with the peeps in whichever room they're in so when I'm alone in bed, they know something is up.

4. When the weather is hot, I don't feel so good. I don't feel like eating or even getting out of bed. TW says I'm cray-cray cos her room is the warmest room in the house during the summer months (and the coldest during the winter).

Caturday art

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many different digital apps, Photoshop, AI art or share original art. Actually all the art programs/apps use AI but a lot of older ones employ picture to picture, rather than text to pictures.

Dunno why I've never published this art that I created in 2021. I guess it's flashback art now. It's a good thing I have all these unused masterpieces on hand since none of our favorite sites make picture to picture art anymore.

What a piece of work TW is. Today is National Fish & Chips Day, Nat'l Rotisserie Chicken Day and Nat'l Donut Day so which one does she choose to use for the AI art? Srsly, The Cat should be posed with fish or a chicken. I guess we know where her head is at. BTW, she doesn't even like donuts with the choco frosting and jimmies. Is that a dollop of whipped cream on top or an egg? Is that a donut flying toward me? It's done as a detailed illustration with the prompt "Gray cat with white chest eating a donut at a cafe."
