Hola kitties! How was your week? Did you catch any lizards? We don't got
lizards up here so I'll bet you're wondering how I can be catching them. You can be catching lizards to cos there's a giveaway later in this post. This
post links aren't sponsored. I'm
sharing this brand cos I believe in them. We've purchased their items and can vouch for them. The owner, Mimi Pipino has been a Twitter
and FB friend for quite a while.
Mimi has both an Etsy shop and an e-shop, which has been around for 10 years. She sells catnip toys and blankets. All the products are handmade, original designs. The catnip is 100% organic catnip with no fillers, grown in Montana with no pesticides. The cat toys are safe cos they're made of soft fabrics such as cotton, fleece and flannel. Items are made to order so you won't get any with stale nip like when you buy from the supermarket.
Her handmade toys are 6 to 7-inches long and are reasonably priced. The dragons in the lead image are actually 10" long. She has just about everything from pizza slices and tacos to manatees and llamas in her shops. She also has the perfect toys and blankets for Halloween, Valentines Day and Christmas.
I don't play with nip toys anymore but love to lay on my nip blankets from Catching Lizards. Mimi finds the cutest cat-centric cloth we're seen. One side is cooling cotton and the other matching flannel. Being DJ CK, I have a cool rocknroll pattern on this one.
All blankets are a generous 18" by 24" and are machine washable. This is the flannel side of my Christmas blankie. Both sides are so comfy. Now excuse me while I nap.
If your human wants to put a smile on your face, send her to Catching Lizards.
All toys and blankets have NO FILLERS, all 100% Organic Nip. Using the links above, go to one of
Catching Lizards sites and tell me which toy or blanket you like best for a
chance to win one of the $6 or $8 toys from her Etsy shop. I'll pick a winner at random. U.S. only. Again, this post and giveaway are not sponsored. Sharing is caring and I care for high-quality catnip.
Friendly fill-ins
Let's answer some of Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the correct answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number two.1. This weekend, I plan to sleep. I'd like to say I plan to broker a debt ceiling deal but I'm too hot and tired. Besides, who cares if the peeps don't get their social security checks that they worked their whole lives for. Wait, how are they going to buy my food and litter?
2. Human salmon never disappoints. I could eat it every night even though TW doles it out with an eyedropper while she stuffs her face.
3. I once saw a real ghost of our departed cat Autumn. I've posted the pic a hunnert times so I'm not going there again.
4. You'll never hear me say I'm scared. My teeth and claws are still sharp and I have no fear.
Caturday art—CK goes psychedelic! Woot!
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely
Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty
and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many
different digital apps, Photoshop, AI art or share original art. Actually all
the art programs/apps use AI but they employ picture to picture, rather than
text to pictures.
OMC! All that all that Catching Lizards nip is making me hallucinate! Whoa! All the pretty colors! Let me take you down to nippy fields where nothing is real. Remember
DreamScope? This is from the archives. I colored it in with my Venus Paradise
colored pencils.
I used the stable model in Night Cafe and the prompt "Stunning gray Cat with white chest by Peter Max, psychedelic art, poster art, psychedelic." Prompt weight: 50%. Noise rate: 90%. It certainly is poster art and psychedelic art. AI nailed that one. Again I love all the results so it was hard choosing just one. That said, what till you see the puzzle!
Happy FryDay (I might get a bite of fried chick, but you're right: salmon is da best, drool). Me and mine Mommy is loving your art today, we are totally "petermaxed to the max". You do AI inside out and backwards. Oh, and hey, we'll visit your furriends shop, it (and she) sound quite cool, but don't put us into any giveaways please. Me is not much on toys or nip actually, and am good in the blankie department at the moment. But who knows fur later on? Yes, the "sky is falling" but when I wrote about it I was too obtuse or something since mine kitty friends didn't seem to unnerstand my attempted analogy, sigh. Those "red hens" are sure upending things in the barn ... claw your way through the weekend, I will.
ReplyDeleteCK, I had a dream with a lizard in it last night! But not a cute on like this. Sometimes they make their way into our house, and I hate it. I'd much rather have a toy lizard in the house. Mimi's toys are very cute!
ReplyDeleteYour art is great. I like the AI poster art too.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I cannot wait to play puzzle with your terrific art, CK.
ReplyDeleteVery cool art! I like the first one best. It's lizard season here and they're about to start coming into the house. Then it's touch and go as to who catches them first, us or the cats. Lizards are safely evicted if we catch them, we prefer the cats don't catch and eat them because we don't know where they've been ... That Catching Lizards shop does have very cute stuff. I like the Eye Spy blanket best I think, but it's hard to choose!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for introducing us to that shop! I just signed up to follow them on Etsy. I might have to get Roary one of those blankets for his birthday, we will see. Love your artwork too CK!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe love her stuff. We have toys and a nip blanket that someone is always on! Great artwork! You're doing great with the AI.
ReplyDeleteThose are some great toys !
ReplyDeleteWe never saw the ghost cat picture. Sounds exciting.
May some salmon swim your way soon CK !
Mimi's Catching Lizards shop has some really cute stuff! I think Jake would like the Sandy Seahorse toy. I'll have to order a couple of toys for him soon. You can never have enough catnip toys. Your artwork is cool! Even before I saw your AI prompts, I thought of Peter Max! So the AI worked out pretty good. Sending healing thoughts to everyone in the townhouse! Have a good Memorial Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like thoe Mimi goodies, they do look nice, I think the Dino is pretty cool. Those were good fill-in answers too and such pretty art! We love you CK and TW!
ReplyDeleteWe love the Cats on Books blankie and gingerbread kitty toy! What a fun shop. We're having salmon this weekend, CK. Come on over!
ReplyDeleteThose are all great items. You are very kind to have a giveaway. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers.. I am sorry TW is so stingy with the salmon though. I'm with you on sleeping this weekend. How cool you saw a ghost cat. I love your art. Thank you for 2 puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteYour art is amazing and those lizards look fun!
ReplyDeleteWe gotta go with the Tasty Taco. So cute (and yummy)! Sleeping is a good thing -- too bad it can't be you brokering that debt ceiling deal, CK, bc we know you would get it done!
ReplyDeleteThose are cool toys. We don't play with them often but this week an orange mousie has made its way back and forth the living room. Both kitties had a paw in that!
ReplyDeleteCK, Mummy doesn't like it when we catch lizards, because she says they bring good luck to the houses where they live. So We aren't going to admit to catching any (mol). As to any deal you broker - we are convinced it would be a zillion times better than anything the humans can figure out. In fact, cats should not only broker debt ceiling deals, but should rule the world, as Nature intended!!!
