Painting With Keisha

Painting With Keisha

Is it Saturday already?? I guess it's time to take you through another tour of my personal art gallery. Today's tour is all about the art of the fish. Welli Fish to be exact. Back in October, I was sent this glorious fish filled with valerian to take for a test drive by Bavarian Cat Toys™. Since the pics were being held hostage on the ipawd up until last week, I didn't get to tell you about them. Stay tuned during the week cos I'm gonna have a review and be giving away some of these wonderfully smelly valerian toys to a couple of lucky readers. Today Welli is the subject of my art.

A combination of the midnight teal action cartoon filter really brought out Welli's color.

I haven't used the Perfect Effects program in such a long time, I'd forgotten about it. I used that program to brighten this blurry image and then used a cracked paper texture. It's still blurry but, hey, I was nomming on that fishie.

The third image I did in Dreamscope. I'm really loving this program. They have some pawsome art filters. I used one called Portrait of Picasso. I think it's my favorite of the day. I wonder if Welli would have ever thought he'd one day be painted by Picasso or if Picasso would have had fun with Welli too.

Three different programs and three different art styles to show off the fun I had with one toy. This kitteh is all about diversity. I got some new valerian toy to test drive this weekend so I intend to do a lot of heavy playing. Don't miss your chance next week to enter to win your own valerian toys. What toys will you be playing with this weekend?

Thanks to Athena and Marie for hosting the Caturday Art Blog Hop so I can mess around with Photoshop and all the cool online apps that are so easy a cat can do them.
