Hola kitties! We’ve been having some severe thunderstorms in the hood. TW had the nerve to storm shame me on her FB page! She—the one who needs a thunder shirt. The truth is that I remembered something I needed to do in my office UTB. That’s why she saw me scamper under the bed. I admit the timing was bad since it was seconds after a huge flash of lightning and crash of thunder. I’m a feral kitty and I’m not scared of anything. End of story but not this post.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and then we have Black Friday, one of the biggest

Back in the old days of the cats who came before us, there was only one high for cats. If catnip didn't do it for you, you were out of luck. They didn't even have good organic nip; it was all generic and hardly even smelled so I was told. There were refillable balls and sacks but not much else. Cats went wild over it anyway. We kitties now have been spoiled. We still have nip, but we also have silvervine, honeysuckle and valerian.
Kitties, how many of you love Valerian? I have a surprise from you today. As that song the Age of Valerian from the movie Cat Hair goes "when Fred Fox is in the seventh house and Welli Fish aligns with Mars, this is the dawning of the age of Valerian."

Is it Saturday already?? I guess it's time to take you through another tour of my personal art gallery. Today's tour is all about the art of the fish. Welli Fish to be exact. Back in October, I was sent this glorious fish filled with valerian to take for a test drive by Bavarian Cat Toys™. Since the pics were being held hostage on the ipawd up until last week, I didn't get to tell you about them. Stay tuned during the week cos I'm gonna have a review and be giving away some of these wonderfully smelly valerian toys to a couple of lucky readers. Today Welli is the subject of my art.
In November we received a Hauspanther email about an Etsy store called CatnipConfections that not only made cat toys out of catnip but also honeysuckle, valerian and silvervine. Seeing how I love my valerian cow and my addiction to silvervine, TW decided to place an order. She also ordered Christmas presents for my cousins BB, Isabel, Makena, Katie, Jinx and Nikki. Even though Debbie at CatnipConfections was busy, she made sure my order arrived on time.
TW had to open the box early since she was seeing Aunt Pauline and needed to wrap the gifts. I’m sorry TW didn’t get a photo of how cute everything was presented. The peanuts were in a paper bag like the peanuts you’d buy at the ball game and the candies were in a candy-shaped gift box that was too pretty to wrap.
