Senile Saturday—Embarrassing Moments

Woman, since when aren't we buying American?

How many of you guessed that the peeps would FORGET Senile Saturday. To that end, I'm gonna embarrass TW like she's never been embarrassed before.

When the following photo fell into my possession, I knew I had to share it with my furrends. Behold, I give you a snapshot of TW, age 3½, downing a bottle of beer. I apologize for the black and white grainy picture. It was taken hundreds of years ago on the first camera every invented.


And, she's trying to raise me to follow in her drunken footsteps. No cats actually drank beer in the making of this photo; however, it IS nice to see TW still has a taste for a weekly brewskie. Hmmmm, wonder if that's whats responsible for this early senility I've been noticing …

I made the black and white foto larger so you can see what a souse baby TW was and turned the top photo into my entry into Athena and Marie’s Caturay Art Blog Hop by using a Rebellion Retrograde Photoshop action and adding an overlay in Pizap.

    When my human was that age, she drank out of a bottle of hot sauce! I think that may be more embarrassing than TW!

    Back in those days that's what parents did to get kids to sleep. I believe I have a similar photo but with a can. My parents had no class

    Love the art! My mum started on the drink a bit early too, though not that young (I haven't seen any photographic evidence from that long ago and she is quite old)

The Human laffed and laffed and wished she had some great pictures like that one! The close-up is especially excellent.     I've had this post opened up in my browser for a few days, waiting until I could appreciate the inevitable senility jokes at TW's expense. :) I was NOT expecting to see a juvenile lush. OMC! But as crazy as TW looks guzzling that beer, her sister?'s expression {"I absolve myself of guilt by association and/or relation, and yet deep down, I would totally pay to see her do it again.} that is making me crack up! In my house, I was the absolved older sister!
