In less than a week TW will be off to Blogpaws, the conference for pet bloggers. She’s bringing Plush CK and Plush MariodaCat aka Mario2. At least Plush CK will have someone to meow with during the 14-hour drive. She’s worried about leaving me because I’m still frowing up every couple of days.
TW and the Plushies—sounds like a rock band, doesn’t it—will be on the road with Theresa from A Coonhound’s Tale. They have a 14-hour drive ahead of them. It’ll probably take twice as long since TW has to use the litter box every half hour. Things start failing when you reach her advanced age.
While she’s away, we’ll be re-running some of your favorite posts, some of which I bet you never even saw. Each one will be a Stupid Human Trick performed by TW and I’ll be adding images to some of them. Of course, TW performed a new Stupid Human Trick last night by accidentally reposting one of the old posts. Thanks to the furrends who saw it and commented. I’ll be posting on my usual posting days—Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday—if TW knows what’s good for her. Pop has promised to add updates if’n TW gives him updates from Nashville. I can’t promise anything.

I have my business cards—designed by Glogirly Designs—but our t-shirts, media cards and swag for our friends haven’t arrived yet. They haven’t even been mailed. I made TW get on the blower and give them a piece of MY mind. They listened and upgraded our shipping as a courtesy.
What worries me is that Pop won’t feed me enough since he’s at work during the day. I get fed at noonish and 4 pm but he’s still at work. Will TW tell him what foods I get at what times? What about the rotation?
Much as I complain about her, I just hate that TW is leaving me for a week. Will she forget about me since they’ll be dozens of kittehs at Blogpaws? Will I remember her? But most importantly, will she embarass me in Nashville? Gasp! I can just see her with a big cowboy hat atop her purple head riding a mechanical bull while screaming from the rafters. Please, if you see her about to cut loose and do something I’ll regret, please slap her back to her senses. She has a history in Nashville and it’s not something The Cat wants to think about.
Who’s going to Blogpaws? What are you looking forward to the most?

CK there is no way TW is going to forget you. In fact before the week is over she'll be missing you so much I bet she makes headwinds to get back to you! We hope she has a lot of fun though at BP.

ReplyDeleteI wish I was going to Blog Paws, I would love to meet TW. I hope they stop every hour to move around a bit, she doesn't want to get a blood clot. That is too bad, that you are still throwing up.

We're being left behind, too, CK. The mom is gonna be off galavanting in Nashville while we're here with the dad guy who can barely remember to clean our litter boxes. She's actually having some stranger come in to feed us and check on us.

Our mom's drive is half the length of yours, but she too has that same litter box need. We know your daddy will take good care of you. But the first thing that made me laff was telling Mario2 that it was YOUR Ess he was scratching. I take it he did not ask purrmission! Loved the entrée blog and I know that BOTH plashes will tell the tale on YOO as soon as they get back to their respective homes. I wish I had a plush ME! Maybe I should work on that! But who would take me?
