You think it’s a coincidence that my silvervine fish and boink match my tissue paper? Yep, the woman who at the age of ten dressed in paisley pants and striped top now thinks she’s a color expert. Be very afraid. Maybe next year when she rotates again, my tissue and toys will complement each other cos I’m certainly not complimenting TW.

How about your peeps: Do they rotate your toys? Do they color coordinate your toys with your tissue paper? What am I gonna do with TW?
Mom used to rotate our toys. Every morning she would gather up all the toys and put them in one bucket then get out another set from another bucket. Now that there are 8 of us, we dump all the buckets every time Mom picks up our toys. Nothing is color coordinated with tissue paper because she won't let us have tissue paper because Horus tries to eat it.

We don't rotate toys, now! The kittens are pretty hard on them and we get lots of new ones. MOL!

ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color and I think you look great on top of it ;) I rotate my baby's toys. Mostly because there are a bajillion of them and I just can't handle having them all out at once lol. But, when we switch them out she does act like they are new and has lots of fun playing with them.
ReplyDeleteNo toy rotation here CK. The staff is far too lazy. All mine are dumped, dumped I say in a crate and left to rot. Scandalous. By the way the colour purple sure suits you. Have a fabulous Friday.

ReplyDeleteI think every girl should have things stuffed under her bed, so I store Truffles toys under her lounger for the most part. She digs around under there until she finds what she wants :)

ReplyDeleteMom doesn't rotate our toys. From time to time she picks them all up and puts them back in the basket. We dig a few the same everytime, but we also dig out some different ones everytime.
BOL!!! My pets are the same way. They prefer to play with certain things, and aren't too fond of change!

ReplyDeleteMommy leaves all our toys in the toy rack for us to pick and choose on our own. HER job is to pick up AFTER we are done playing. MOL.
My Human does Cod only knows WHAT wif my toys. She scatters a bunch and then it takes her FOREVER to notice that I have managed to bat all of them under things and can no longer reach them to play. So it can be WEEKS and I have no toys. Sometimes she will add some more or sometimes she'll move a chair or something and say, "Oh look, Spitty. Here are your toys" and expect me to come bat them out from under. Honestly, she's useless.

I'd like to suggest a color test. Lay out 5 or 6 sheets of different color paper and see which ones are left at the end of the day...
ReplyDeleteNo toy rotation here. Everything goes into the toy basket and occasionally my guys fish one or two out. Always the same one or two. Sweetie Pie, our foster kitten had a party everyday with all the unused neglected toys.
No rotation here. They all just go in a big basket, and we dig around until we find what we want. Mom picks them all up when Chris comes to clean, and is always surprised to see that we seem to pull different ones out each week. We think a stunning cat should have matching toys and tissue paper. We do not have any of the latter 'cause Astrid shreds it into itty bitty pieces. Mom will do the writing process challenge on Monday. ReplyDeleteI'm terrible as I don't hardly ever play with toys even tho I have a basket full. M says I'm so hard to please. She does put some away and dig them out in a year or so, but I don't show any interest. Therefore, she's thinking that is a waste of her time. She keeps buying me new toys and hasn't hit a home run since the first Neiko Fly came into the house.
ReplyDeleteMom just dumps all of our toys in the toy box and lets us pick anything we want to play with. Every once in awhile she finds we have toys scattered all over the house.
ReplyDeleteMost of my toys are in the toy box but my favourites are by the cat tree. Mum puts 4 or 5 marinating in nip or silvervine for a week then gives them to me and puts 4 or 5 different ones marinating for the next week.

MOL Well at least yous lookin' good. And yous look weally purretty on dat purrple. Mommy keeps ow toys in ow toybox (basket) and leaves ow favowits and da ones weez been given by furiends wecently out so weez can play wiff them and hers can get fotos fur postys. So meez guesses she dusn't weally change out ow toys. Altho hers duz take out da old toys weez not play wiff at all, and donates them to a less furtunate kitty fwum time to time.

We don't know if Jan coordinates our toys. They seem to come in all colors. Just before one of the dogs - currently Marcus - slobbers on it so we don't want it.
