Admit it. Every week, these Saturday PhotoHunt themes get stupider and more bizarre—one cat's opinion. That, coupled with the fact that my readership suffers every Saturday, is why this will be my last one. How many Plants—this week's not stupid theme—can you find in the following photo?
That said, I've found 7 and I'm not counting the tree outside the window. Give up? There's a nip Plant that's Planted on the Tree of Pain, a Basil Plant Planted on the window ledge, I'm Planted on the Tree of Pain holding a photo of Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin. I'm also doing a face Plant into the nip. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Great photo-hunt post!
ReplyDeleteTreen of pain, huh? Tell us more...
I think you did really good for this week's theme, CK!
ReplyDeleteSays a lot for my human when the only plant she recognised was Robert!!
ReplyDeleteWell CK you had ME fooled that's for sure.....
ReplyDeleteKitty Hugs, Sammy
Awww but we love seeing you in all your stunningness. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Very good use of Plant.
ReplyDeleteDid you see Harry's ladder climb CK:

That's a whole lot of plants!
ReplyDeleteNoodle
Clever photo, CK!
ReplyDeleteYou got the plants covered CK!
ReplyDeleteMajorly creative use of PLANT! SCORE.
ReplyDeleteWell, we commend you for doing the Photohunt in the first place! Our human does not like to be told what to do, so she would have been a terrible participant!
ReplyDeletePurrs from the Zee and Zoey Gang!
Oh no! Hide that picture! Robert Plant was the first man to make the HuMom's middle schoolgirl's knees weak. If she sees that she'll be screeching about " A Whole Lotta Love" and looking for the " confounded bridge" oh oh oh on oh oh.....
ReplyDeleteWe're gone!
Mistletoe & Hitch
C.K., you are so clever. We decided not to do today's Photo Hunt as we figured that eventually efurrybuddy would get tired of looking at catnip plants. We don't do these all the time, and we have wondered how the words are selected as most of them are truly stupid. We won't miss you doing these. Just put up a cute photo of yourself and we will be happy kitties. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThat's a LOT of plants, darling. My Human is slacking, CK. I just can't do a thing with her! My comments are usually slow on Caturday and I never do the Photo Hunt. I think the Thumb-Owners just get lazy on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow this is such an excellent PhotoHunt post! I did not find so many plants until you mentioned. You are such a smart girl :-)
ReplyDeleteMOL! CK, we like that face plant. Make sure you put the bitey on that nip.
ReplyDeleteCK, you did it! The only plants I'd look at would be ones I'd 'mark' (polite way of saying I'd pee on them).
ReplyDeleteYour Basil looks pretty tasty. I LOVE Basil. I think my traffic is less on the weekends too, but I'm also considering changing my Saturday posts. We'll see. I like the idea of having a free day.
ReplyDeleteGood one, CK. We would have never gotten that face plant! :)
ReplyDeleteWe agree...the photohunt themes are REALLY lacking.
ReplyDeleteIt took us FOREVER to figure out what to do today. Especially considering the only thing that's green in the house is the science experiment currently residing in our fridge.
At least you HAVE plants.
; ) Katie
You did a great job. We never would have gotten it right. The Face Plant is the best!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHehehe...
ReplyDeleteOl' Peepers is out countin' plants today. We had our first killin' frost last night. She's ever so grateful the ginger and gardenia were inside.
Purrs,
Nissy
What a tricky, unique way to count plants as with most words it has lots of definitions.
ReplyDeleteOnly you CK, only you! Momz is rolling on the floor laughing right now...How about I "plant" a puppy smooch on your stunning head?
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the theme. You're correct that they are getting weirder and weirder.
ReplyDeleteFortunately for HER, Jane's Viceroy territory is near Castle Spit-tay and far from CK's hood so she'll be (more or less) safe. The Human says she's sweet and "adorable". Uh-huh. They're all traitorous, right? Keep-your-friends-close-and-your-enemies-closer is a motto I will keep in mind. Never fear.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of plants for a kitty, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteGrrreat job with the theme !
ReplyDeleteIf I did this weeks photohunt I would have posted a picture on me PLANTing my furry bum in the sofa :)
Bwaa!!! Haaa!!! Haaa!!! Mes loves it when cats makes koolaid come out Mommy's nose!!!
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
