Zip to Zip

Guess what? Since TW doesn't have any other ideas for a post (and she doesn't like my suggestions), we decided to give the Saturday Photo Hunt one last chance. Slacker that she is, TW said she wasn't gonna put a lot of work into making a photo. After all, photo hunt usually means hunting for a photo already in your archive. It didn't take me long to find one.

TW is always taking pictures of me while she was watching Yankee games. This photo is from 2010 vs the Red Sox. Nick Swisher is at the plate. The Yankee pitcher has miraculously kept the Sox off the scoreboard in the top of the first so the score is still ZIP-ZIP. It wouldn't stay that way for long. If you can't see it on the photo, I biggified it for you.

One or two of my furrends don't give diddly about sports, so I made a photo just for them. When George The Duck was visiting me in 2011, we wanted to go to The Village and hang. We're chillin' in the subway station waiting for the train to ZIP us downtown with the local flavor. In no time at all, we were in Washington Square Park buying a ZIP of nip.

  1. I think TW gets and A+ for creativity on this one. I probably wouldn't have even noticed the score! But I'm likely one of those non-sports peeps.

  5. We love the photo of you at the subway station! There would probably be a lot less mice that way if you hung out there, CK.

  8. Is this now the last Sat. Photo Hunters? We haven't checked out to see how inane next week's word is. If we had, we could probably answer that question ourselves. Now that chore is complete, have a great weekend, CK. purrs and hugs, LO, M, MM, G, F, A, L and CJ

  12. I love the picture of you and George in the subway. Mom spent a lot of time in the subways during her misspent youth. MOL She wishes Denver had better public transportation. Nothing around here zips you anywhere!

  13. Hi CK....I love watching baseball but think football has more "action" on the screen so it gets my vote.....I would probably vote for a subway ride with you to find a bit of that nip in a zip as well.... Tee Hee

    Happy Sunday

  16. Well, them Sox is in the Series, right? And our Giants year-long reign is almost at an end. 'Course, after the season they had, it actually was embarrassing when they got introduced as the "World-Champion San Francisco Giants" -- I mean everyone sorta giggled nervously when they said it. Sigh.
