Rocky Mountain High

Late on Christmas day, the peeps finally let me open the quilt I won from Colorado Catnip. I know that everyone's tired of hearing me gripe about how nip doesn't usually do anything for me. I keep trying on the chance I'll find a winner. Score! When the peeps opened the quilt, they set it on the floor. I immediately starting grabbing and bunny-kicking the quilt, which has a catnip toy attached to it. When I realized I had an audience, I stopped as quickly as I started. The same scene played out on Pop's bed the next day. I rubbed all over the quilt and toy and did the bunny-kick thing again.

We were all surprised with how large the 100% cotton quilt was and TW was relieved that it's machine washable. As long as she doesn't use the evil, smelly Tide, we should be fine.

TW still doesn't let me into her my bedroom at night but she put the quilt on her my bed so when I come in to sleep after my 5 a.m. feeding, I can lay on it. Yes, kittehs, I have claimed it for my own and laid upon it every morn. Life is good when you' start out the day with a Rocky Mountain catnip high.

I LOVE my quilt from Colorado catnip. There are so many gorgeous quilts and beds in their Etsy shop that if I hadn't won this particular one, it'd take hours for me to decide which one to buy. If you don't see one you like, you can request a custom item. Even if you're not in the market for a bed or quilt (they call them blankets), they have a selection of catnip toys.

Thanks to my good Twitter furrend @Smokey8 for donating such a wonderful prize and to Jana at Colorado Catnip for making sure I had it for Christmas.

Disclaimer: I won the quilt fairly and squarely and no one told this little ghetto cat what to say. Na mean?

  14. You get a 5 am feeding???????? Cat, I have to train my human better. She only puts food in my bowl when it's totally empty, and even then I have to draw her attention to it. Time to crack that book on human training.

    Happy New Year. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

  18. That's a pretty pawsome quilt, CK. I guess they must grow some primo weed, uh, "Nip" in Colorado, right?

Oh, and no, the Po-Po did not frisk, only lectured. We live here in politically correct SF where the Po-Pos are pretty laid back....for Po-Po, MOL.
