LIVESTRONG Day
I bow my head to the anipals and humans in the CB and Twitter, who we lost in 2012 to the Big C.
I know our lives aren't complete without our beloved family members lost to cancer.
Here's looking at Gramma, Grandpa, Autumn and Faith E. Gurl!
We're remembering our friends and family we've lost to cancer today too. ...and those that are still fighting the brave fight for their lives. xo, Katie & Glogirly
We agree completely CK! Cancer blows! All 4 of our grandhumans are currently suffering from it now or are in remission. And we send our dad off every day with instructions to save another life from the big bad "C". It's an awful disease with the prognosis touching over 40% of Americans in this lifetime.
We think your puzzle graphic says it all - cancer takes away vital parts of our lives!
well done Keisha! I opted to post my interview as planned...it was a tough choice for me and Mom...she lost her own Mom when she, her Mom, was only 4 and my Mom was just 17 with a 6 year old sister...cancer is a hateful thing
You are so right, CK, the Human lost her own dad waaaaaaaay too soon almost 30 years ago now.
But we want to say also that all the money and research really *has* led to some miracles. Two of the Human's dear friends have beaten really awful cancers with bad prognoses --both more than 8 years ago now. So the Humans have to keep working hard and paying attention and making sure more good research gets funded. It *does* save lives! In fact, the Human knows more people who've survived cancer than died from it, may that trend grow and continue!
