I usually like to write about somewhat spooky things around Halloween. Last year I wrote about Gramma's ghost in our old house. Cats are magical creatures. We can predict storms, tornadoes, etc. We can also sense the supernatural. I'm a cat and I can sense any paranormal activity in the condo. Who you gonna call?
Wednesday night started as any other … and then TW found me, eyes glazed, staring at the records. She knew the drill. Normally, when a cat stares like that, the first thing the staff thinks is that they see vermin. TW knew better cos she's seen it before so she ran for the flashy box.
TW took a couple of shots and kept looking at what she had. Finally she saw it! Do you see it?
Elsewhere on the web, we found the meaning of a white orb. "Orbs that are either white or silver in appearance are an indication that a spirit is trapped on this plane. It may also be a sign that the spirit is there to offer protection to the people in the area. White energy is typically perceived as highly positive in nature." There are also "angel orbs" and when they show up near a person or cat it's a sign that they are blessed with the goodness, positive energy and protection of angels.
This is the second time I've signaled that I saw a spirit and TW has been able to get it on film There's been other times too. All have occurred in the same area. The first time it happened, TW thought I had seen a crawly thing. She couldn't find anything so she took some photos. When TW looked at the the photo, she thought there was something on the camera lens or she was doing something wrong. She took another photo and it was gone. She filed the pic away until we read about Bones coming to visit our friend Robert. It was then she began to look for the picture (below) she'd taken.

This cat is truly blessed. The first orb was bigger so we figure it was Angel Nicky coming to see TW. They had a special relationship or so I've been told. This one is much smaller so it might be Angel Autumn looking for Pop. We believe in the spiritual.
When I'm not in the bedroom, TW has felt someone jump into the bed with her. She never really thought about it until Nicky's orb appeared. Now, she'll say "good night Nicky" cos he used to sleep with her every night like I do now.
Have you ever had a visitation from someone from your past and have you ever gotten it on film?
My human is a skeptic when it comes to spirits - she doesn't NOT believe, she just does not believe most of the stuff other people who DO believe do. Of course you and I know better, right, CK?

Well, I have definitely had feelings that someone might be visiting, but certainly never had any proof. You may have a whole new career in ghost busting!
ReplyDeleteMy mum and dad believe that the spirits of our loved ones come back. Take a look at this selfie from a few weeks back. It was when my dad said we should have a selfie with all of us because we were happy I had made a good recovery from my suspected blood clot.Look at the second photo. When my mum saw it she said Eric had wanted to join us.

ReplyDeleteWell CK we don't believe in such things. We've got lots of fotos with orbs and fankfully mommy furinally cleaned da lenses. We also have fotos with billows of what looks like smoke. Altho' it's not a camera cleanin' thing mommy has to be careful where da lights and sun are. But, we do think you look just gawjus. Have a pawsum day.

This explains a lot. So when Kali is staring into a corner, there may be a ghost or spirit she's looking at? I must pay attention to these white or silver orbs. I never looked for them before. For all I know, our hallway could be the main road to Spiritville.

ReplyDeleteWow! You are really good at this ghost hunting thing, CK. The ghost came right up to you! Even he couldn't resist your stunning beauty. :) I don't get a lot of ghosts in my photos, but my cats do tend to stop and just stare at things that I can't see. Cinco did that a lot! He had a particular spot where he would always just sit and watch "nothing" very closely. It was spooky!

ReplyDeleteOh yes, Mommy has had visitations from her parents many times. She even saw her dad once sitting on the couch. Many people in our family have had visitations. It's very cool TW had these visits.
ReplyDeleteThe Human didn't used to believe all that stuff, but lately she gets to wondering. You never know, she says. I believe the Admiral visits me sometimes, just as I am dropping off to sleep. Maybe it's a dream . . .but you never know, right? XOXO

ReplyDeleteOh we get visitors alright and usually I can see/feel them way before Mom. Mom says I'm her "early warning device" because my eyes get big and I stare at stuff SHE can't see. We've captured orbs on film before too - We don't mind "visitors" - they just like to keep in touch!

Good heavens. If all of my past cats came back there would be no room left on the photo. It would be all orbs. You don't want to know how many cats have passed through my life CK. It's a big number......
