Passion is No Ordinary Word

This cat is passionate about many things but number one would have to be tattooing my peeps aka biting them. Week 47’s theme in the 52 Snapshots photo challenge is Passion.

Passion is No Ordinary Word

Another thing I am passionate about is kibble. I’ll eat just about any brand of kibble. Of course, TW won’t give it to me except when I have to do a product review. Otherwise I get a spoonful twice a week. I’ll write more about my love affair with kibble next week. Let’s just say I’m so passionate about kibble that I’ll jump on the counter and get it myself.

I have a real Passion for the taste of my peeps so I get samples whenever I can. Fortunately, there’s no photographic proof that it's me actually attacking one of the peeps. I always brag about it online and then deny it was me who bloodied them. Had the image below been an actual bite, TW would be too busy pulling her hand away and running for the hydrogen peroxide to use the flashy box. Still, you can see the Passion and determination on my face—real or staged, it was satisfying.

     Passion is No Ordinary Word

Thanks to Christina and The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge this week and every week throughout 2015. For those who would like to participate, next week’s theme is Thankful. We all may be blogging about food again next week! HAH!

There are so many images where I’m biting TW. This is one of my favorites cos, again, you can see the Passion and intensity etched on my stunning face. I used a grunge photo effect to turn it into this week’s art project. On the bottom is using a film template to the same image.

Passion is No Ordinary Word

I may look like I’m kissing her but her finger is clearly in my mouth. First I tenderize her a bit. If she doesn’t pull away, then I lay the bitey on her which gets harder and more intense the longer she stays there.

Thanks to Athena and Marie for hosting the pawsome Caturday Art Blog Hop every week. Without it, TW would still be clueless about photoshop. Click the link to see more creative anipals displaying their art projects.

  10. Oooo nice nibbles! Why is it that I can appreciate your technique and tenacity but when it's Cashmere nibbling on me I can't stand it? MOL She's such a brat about it, I swear! I've learned though, that if she starts with the biting my fingers, that pulling away only means I get hurt. So I've worked hard to stop before pulling and instead push my fingers, gently, further into her mouth. She hates it and stops! Usually only stops for a day though.. but at least it's sorta working! Brat biters.. MOL

  11. You do look very passionate when you are getting the bitey on!

  12. "First I tenderize her a bit." LOL!!! Mudpie is nothing like you, CK. She is the gentlest cat I've ever met...she's never even bit or scratched me by accident while playing!

  13. We think you and Ellie went to the same school of biting techniques!!!

  14. CK, we're beginning to think your bark...or rather, your meow...is worse than your bite. ;)

  15. Kibble and the bitey are both very worthy of passion, CK!

Love your artwork, too. That grunge effect is cool.

  16. Hmm, your passion for biting your humans wouldn't be well received here. I can understand a passion for kibble.

  17. Lovely artwork!

You and Athena are very alike. Not only does she love her kibble but she loves to bite me too :)

  18. Let's face it...........humans taste pretty good - I can't help but use a bitey or two on my Mom when her hand is sitting unprotected in her lap OR if she's given me one too many pets......there's a limit (which is constantly changing) to how much LUV we'll allow right? Sneaking kibble is more fun than having it delivered to you anyway.......enjoy!

    Hugs, sammy

  19. Oh, CK, I am passionate about kibble, too! Mommy has tried EVERYTHING under the sun to get me to stop eating it, but nothing works. She has even had conversations with my vet. I refuse to give in! (And Lexy nibbles on Mommy's fingers, too. But it's just a nibble - unless Mommy rubs her belly).

  20. I'm cool with those passions, CK!! Especially the kibble one! I seem to have lost my passion for the bitey just a little bit!!

  21. Mom's friend Amanda has a kitty that does the same thing CK. I only bitey Mom when it is time to go to bed at night and she is not ready to go, then I put the bitey on her feet and ankles!

  22. I understand completely my darling. I have taken to lunging at the Human from arm's length and taking a sharp little nip of her tender inner forearm. I like the way she says, "Ouch!" I don't draw bloods (usually) but it does get her attention and help her remember I like to be petted and stuff.

  23. We are so alike BFGF. I would eat only kibble but I also am kept away from it and only receive measured amounts. TKS, however , is willing to get on the kitchen counter and has actually knocked the very large plastic container to the floor...the lid was partially unlocked and I gorged myself. I then promptly barfed it up. Needless to say, the humans had a mess to clean up when they got home
