Can you believe this little ghetto kitteh has to work on Thanksgiving? It’s true. This week’s 52 Snapshots word is Thankful and what better day to give thanks but Thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving, we are feeling very blessed and thankful. Even though the peeps have been having a trying year health-wise, we're thankful for this roof over our heads protecting us from the elements and Pop’s job that keeps food on our table and in my dish. We’re thankful for each day we wake up to.
We are thankful for:
A full table and full bellies. Sorry for the dark, crappy image.
The turkey and bits of turkey that fall on the floor.
Our little piece of real estate near the greatest city in the world. We can see this view from all our windows.
We're also thankful for family and good friends especially local besties: Uncle Vince, Aunt Marta, Theresa, Denise and Aunt Pauline. TW is also thankful for her homey and some cool bloggers who she can call “friend.”
I’m thankful that I can bite Pop without consequences. He might get mad at me for a minute but then he forgives me. TW won’t play with the rest of the day. I'm thankful for the other blogging cats (and even some woofies) and those without blogs who follow this blog and leave comments. In addition, here’s what I give thanks for every year: Companion Animal Placement for rescuing me from the kill shelter.; TW and Pop for finding me on Petfinder.com and giving me a roof over my head and a place to hang my smousy toys—and for knowing who's the boss around here; Pop not letting TW return me just cos I attack her all the time; my cat food (even if it's not nearly enough); people food (why don't they ever have roast beef?), my sharp teeth and claws ("me? I don’t bite"), my furriends and those who follow and interact with me on Twitter and Facebook; those who share my posts; the world’s most perfect food, TUNA!; the kisses that I get every day (awww) and being a cat (so I don't have to go to work and can sleep all day). Most of all, I'm thankful that my Maker chose to make me THE WORLD'S MOST STUNNING CAT!
Thanks to Christina and The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge this week and every week throughout 2015. For those who would like to participate, next week’s theme is Bokeh. Say what? I’m gonna have to look that up in my Urban Dictionary.
Happy Thanksgiving! So many things to be thankful for.

Ck, that's a wonderful Thanksgiving post.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, what's in the purple casserole dish on the table? I had to laugh when I saw the can-shaped blob of cranberry sauce. My dad likes to do that but mom makes him mush it up so it looks more "natural".
Those are all wonderful things to be thankful for, CK! We are thankful to be able to call you one of our friends! Purrs,
