Let's get the pawty started with some bloopers.
Occasionally TW will try a shoot while we're playing. Sometimes you win but often you lose. She definitely lost with these fotos but you know what, when I shrank them down for the blog, they didn't look half bad. I'm not even gonna post the other one. No, I don't owe TW an apology cos my face still is a bit on the soft focus side.
Apparently her 10-year-old cheapo point and shoot isn't good enough for her to get a foto while I'm walking toward her. Perhaps I just channeled my inner blurry self. Or maybe she dropped the camera one too many times. You decide.
The Pet Photo Fails blog hop was created by Roby Sweet and is now graciously hosted by Mudpie and Melissa over at Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows. Please link up your photo fails on her page so we can all get a laugh out of them.
Let's join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a feature held weekly at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics with further comments in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it relates to none of them or number two if we generalize.
1. My favorite Peanuts character is The Cat. Oh wait, there is no cat except the one who claws Snoopy's dog house. Bah! TW loves Peppermint Patty cos they're both tomboys. TW has a pic where I'm posed with her Peppermint Patty doll but of course she can't find it.
2. I knew I was no longer a child when I was born and discovered I was a kitten. I had four stunning paws, a tail and was covered with fur so I knew I wasn't a child. TW sez she lost a bit of her youth when the neighborhood kids started calling her "lady."
3. I was shocked when I learned that I had asthma. I thought I was invincible. I thought I was perfect.
4. I always feel frustrated when I try to bite TW's hand and she pulls away. For an old coot, she still has fast reflexes.
Perhaps I had a bit of the nip when I painted this piece. Perhaps more than a bit. Heh heh. This foto was from the same set as above where TW was trying to play with me and snap pics at the same time.
This will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into works of art.
Before I go, I'm running out of "feral" pics for my Feral Friday lead image. TW finds it hard to snap a pic while I'm biting down on her hand. Pop can't unnerstand why. HAH! If you have a feral looking image that you'd like to see here, send it to stunningkeisha at hotmail dot com stating I have your permission to use it.

We really enjoyed the photo fails this week – classy and full of action, and great fun. I love the expression on your face in the first, and Mrs H actually thought you were in focus in the second, well until she put her glasses on, MOL

I love the painting effect for your art today!
ReplyDeleteNow, CK, you ARE perfect. You just have err ... character! I'm with TW on Peppermint Pattie. She's a good friend but she kind of gets overlooked by the others.
ReplyDeleteWe really like your Fails CK. Our Dad has the same blurries and we are not sure if they are camera or shaky hand driven. Great answers too
ReplyDeleteFun fails, and there was a cat in the comic strip that you did see, Frieda had a cat and she would con Snoopy into holding it for her while she was busy. He's be pictured standing there with his arms out holding a cat that looked like it was boneless.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!
That is very cool artwork this week! And I think that second blooper shot is kinda cool.
ReplyDeleteNot only does having cat teeth sunk into one's hand make it hard to focus a photo, but there is the shake from being in pain...
ReplyDeleteI don't think there are any bloopers with kitties. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
CK, for sure that burd skin shot iz EPIC FAIL and we are guessin that TW iz knot multee task ? may bee next time ya could bite her leg....ya noe !! :) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteI think we have a dresser similar to the one in your blurry photo.
ReplyDeleteI like your art this week. Very modern impressionist regal.
So I'm not the only blurry photography expert - Whew!
ReplyDeleteYou are perfect, CK! Asthma doesn't change that. I wouldn't call the first picture a blooper at all, but the blurry one sure is! MOL (And Mommy wants me to tell you that Conway is not clutter. Making more room for his stuff is the reason she's decluttering everything else.) --Mudpie
ReplyDeleteThose were fun fails CK and darn good answers too, but your art is exceptionally stunning!
ReplyDeleteVery cute photo fails. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You are still perfect even if you have asthma. I never saw the cat in Snoopy that clawed his dog house, but I read about him today on 4-Legged Furballs. I love your art- I sure wish it was a puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteYeah, CK. Humans sure have a problem getting action shots of us cats.
ReplyDeleteMoving cats are a challenge for me. I am still working on getting them right * sigh *
ReplyDeleteThe second blooper is a good one, I wouldn't even have recognised you!
ReplyDeleteI love the good strong colours in your art. Maybe you could make a puzzle of it for your loyal followers.
Amazing art!
ReplyDeleteFabulous art work, CK! And your answers are great. Your #4 made us laugh; glad TW stil has quick reflexes. :)
ReplyDeleteHi CK! Great artwork and bloopers today. Mom has a hard time with the action shots, too. We even like to turn our heads away at the perfect moment to mess with her.
ReplyDeleteYou're never a blooper, CK. You're nothing but stunning. Your second "blooper" looks like the majority of my photos of Eddy, but she has informed me that even those shots of her are masterpieces, so the same certainly goes for you. And your fill-ins are purrfect! I've always thought the incredibly low number of cats in Peanuts was such a shame. Peanuts needs a CK. As for #4, given some of your recent updates, it sounds like perhaps Pop doesn't have the reflexes TW has?
