My pals at Four-Legged Furballs chose #113 as the foto they would most like to see. This action shot of me bathing was taken in May 2009. TW lucked out and had the flashy box out at the right time. She took a bunch of fotos where I'm asleep in the blue "mauve" thing . When I awoke, I decided a bath—or maybe just a face wash—was in order. It's one of the better fotos where I'm washing. I seem completely unaware that I'm on candid camera or that some stuffie's tail is photobombing me.
#766, chosen by Angel Flynn and Angel Eric's mom Jackie, is a fun foto from January 2010 if you pardon the mess. The computer isn't on so I don't know what I'm doing hiding in back of it. I usually search in back when TW is watching a cat video and I hear meowing. I want to find that other cat but I've had zero success thus far. Computer cat keep eluding me. Have you ever caught computer cat?
The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I'm happy to provide the answers. My answers are truthful, so help me Cod. I can't speak for TW since she lies a great deal. That's why I don't let her play along.
1. I can't believe the Friskies Pull 'n Play is still sold. December is Safe Toys and Gifts Month and this cat toy is anything but safe. It encourages cats to eat string. I've had at least two furrends wind up at the EV (Emergency Vet) after swallowing string which is enough to tell me that toys like this shouldn't be sold. We do not want to teach kitties that string is an edible treat. This toy should be banned just cos of the ingredients which are anything but healthy.
2. I have NOTHING on Craigslist. People get killed listing stuff there.
3. Going into December, the weather outside is in the 50s, which I guess is the new norm. We had a few cold snaps but hopefully it stays like this so the heat doesn't go on.
4. My current weakness is my dental chew toys cos they make a ton of noise when I toss them all over the hallway between the peeps' room in the middle of the night. I'll have to get TW to take a foto of it. I've already lost two of them and since they're hand-me-downs from Nicky, they don't sell them anymore. I also have a weakness for Chinese food or any food that's spicy with onion and garlic which I shouldn't eat. The peep's Achilles heel is chocolate anything or anything that's sweet.
Note: TW wants me to tell everybuddy that she doesn't use shower caps to cover food and that they are bowl covers—not that I believe her. She says they're washable and reusable so they're good for the environment and they fit those odd-sized cat food cans like Tiki Cat and some Wellness. I still think they're shower caps. Plus it's funnier that way.
They look like shower caps to me! BTW, a school I visited a few weeks ago gave me a thank you gift, and when we got home and opened it up... it was one of those Pull and Plays! It's still sitting around the house because my human doesn't know what to do with it, and feels guilty about just tossing it out.
ReplyDeleteCrockett's daddy buys stuff on Craigslist and it drives da mommas crazy.

ReplyDeleteSome great shots there... and as to can covers - I use the lids from Pringles tubes; they are the pawfect size!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
I love your bathing foto with a cute photobombing tail :-)
ReplyDeleteTemperature here is 60s now and we are enjoying it! Happy Friday!
Those were fun ones CK!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice photo of you having a bath. Eric always tried to find computer kitty behind the monitor, but if Flynn saw it he would whap it. He even tried biting the screen a couple of times. That just proves their temperaments. Eric was everybody's friend, but Flynn was very territorial and would go mad if he saw an intruder in his fields.
ReplyDeleteI like to see other cats bathing....then I can mew..."Hey you, your tonque is not on fire so put more zest in your tongue movements" or my favourite..."Who taught you to clean yourself....Winnie the Pooh?" hehe

Rule #1 of being stunning ... stay stunning. I love seeing your softer side in that first picture, CK.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is in the 50's out here, too. I don't know have anything on Craig's List either.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more about Craigslist! I don't know how anyone dares to use it.
ReplyDeleteI like the first photo, but I didn't even see you at first in the computer one. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is a dangerous toy that should be taken off the market. I have been lucky with Craigslist, but I always meet in a public place. Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos CK! I love them all and great Friday Fill ins! And I can't believe that pull & Play is still on the market! I can imagine Craigslist would be dangerous there, And I do think those covers would make great shower caps!

We've never caught computer cat and if we ever do...we'll give him what for.
ReplyDeleteMom would be really askeered to do Craigslist. We think everybody has a weakness for chocolate!

I agree with you about Craigslist - too high risk for us. Fortunately, we don't have much stuff and we can usually give our unneeded things to friends or donate it to charity.
ReplyDeleteWe liked those fotos, CK. That darned computer cat always eludes us, too!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that I am so late. There were some unplanned things over the weekend. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOH.MY.GOSH! Your answer to #1 is one that I always said! I even voiced my concern online. As a retired vet tech with 40+ years of rescue...this is what I thought, too! I remember cats and kittens who had a stomach full of string...and pertitonitis and blockage.
Wow...I could have written #2 & #3, too! Have a great week! Big hugs.
That computer shot is like playing spot the cat!
