For all you guys in warm climes, I'm gonna try to make you feel cold with today's art.
I used a filter from Photo Lab which I'm sure someone else used last week but I can't remember who. That's the danger of everybuddy using the same apps. I added some snow to make it a bit unique.
Then with a wave of my paw, I made the snow start falling. Doesn't it make you shiver just a little?
Thanks to Angel Eric and Angel Flynn's mum, I then used the landscape filter in LunaPic to create a painting. It turned me into a tortie but I have plenty of tortitude to go around.
And on the seventh day I rest. I mean, my masterpiece was complete and didn't need more editing.
Check out Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty's blog for all the creative links in the Caturday Art Blog Hop and see all the different apps that hip cats are using. You may want to try one and participate next week. Athena and her mum would love to have you.
Note: You might notice there's holly hanging in the lead photo. Holly is poisonous to cats so don't try this at home. If you must have holly indoors, buy the fake kind or put it somewhere your cat won't come in contact with it.
Jeeze CK everyone is getting snow but me....no fair,xx Speedy

ReplyDeleteAs had a week without heating, I know all about cold! Love your art, though. A wee bit snow can be seen on the hills outside my window... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
We think that Landscape filter always looks good, and it made a great "card." Mom thinks that what this looks like. We don't need any help feeling cold...thank you very much! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteYour art is lovely and the snow did make me feel colder than I already was. You look lovely as a tortie or any colour you choose to be. The Landscape filter does look good on you.
ReplyDeleteOh I would love to see snow fall here. It doesn't snow very often in ORE-gon. Your cards are beautiful CK & you are magic to make it snow. Can you send some magic this way? Happy Meowlidays to you & your momma from me & my humans. -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews

ReplyDeleteThat's some super artwork, CK. That one with the falling snow reminds us of, um last night! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't want anymore snow. Cool pictures though.
ReplyDeleteAll the artwork is great, but my favorite is the falling snow, too. It looks like we are going to have a brown Christmas this year.

Oh, I'm so glad we don't get snow here.
ReplyDeleteWe love your snowy scenes, CK! And if you're tired of all that snow, you can send it our way! We always hope for a white Christmas, with fun snowflakes flying through the air, but, alas, we haven't had but a few flurries so far this year. Wishing you a fun and festive day!
ReplyDeleteNice wintertime effects, CK. We are already over the snow...can't it go away for another year now?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art - and good tip about holly.
