CK Takes a Snow Day

Yo Kittehs! It's been snowing every other day in the lovely northeast. Right now I'm warm and cozy inside but it's cold and raw out there. Everything—including the gray snow—is covered with white. You watch, though, come December 25th it will be 60F degrees and everything will be melted. Now please excuse me while I hang some Christmas lights in here. Gotta get ready for Catmus Eve.

CK Takes a Snow Day

For all you guys in warm climes, I'm gonna try to make you feel cold with today's art.

CK Takes a Snow Day

I used a filter from Photo Lab which I'm sure someone else used last week but I can't remember who. That's the danger of everybuddy using the same apps. I added some snow to make it a bit unique.

Then with a wave of my paw, I made the snow start falling. Doesn't it make you shiver just a little?

Thanks to Angel Eric and Angel Flynn's mum, I then used the landscape filter in LunaPic to create a painting. It turned me into a tortie but I have plenty of tortitude to go around.

And on the seventh day I rest. I mean, my masterpiece was complete and didn't need more editing.

Check out Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty's blog for all the creative links in the Caturday Art Blog Hop and see all the different apps that hip cats are using. You may want to try one and participate next week. Athena and her mum would love to have you.

Today is the last day to enter for the PetFusion 3-sided scratching post. Click the link to go to the entry widget. Luck be a kitty tonight

Note: You might notice there's holly hanging in the lead photo. Holly is poisonous to cats so don't try this at home. If you must have holly indoors, buy the fake kind or put it somewhere your cat won't come in contact with it.

  19. We love your snowy scenes, CK! And if you're tired of all that snow, you can send it our way! We always hope for a white Christmas, with fun snowflakes flying through the air, but, alas, we haven't had but a few flurries so far this year. Wishing you a fun and festive day!
