TW tends to stay up later than she should each night. Most nights I keep her company and I get rewarded with a midnight—or later—snack. When I don't eat my gut rot, TW gives me a little something to make sure I've had enough liquids and to keep me away from the kibble bowl.
The problem she has is she usually has to open a big can or pouch of food cos not many foods come in small portions and I don't like most of them that do. TW hates to open a big can and either throw half of it out or refrigerate it When we saw Chewy was offering the perfect midnight snack‚ 1.75-oz pouches of one of my favorite brands of food, we couldn't order it quick enough.
Wellness CORE® Simply Shreds™ Grain-Free Wet Cat Food Toppers seemed to be the perfect choice. It contain 90% moisture and come in four recipes: Boneless Chicken, Wild Salmon & Tuna, Tuna & Shrimp and Boneless Chicken & Mackerel. Surely you guessed which one I ordered—the salmon and tuna, of course. It's billed as "a great snack to be added to a complete and balanced food diet." Each recipe is made with simply four ingredients or less—100% natural with no grains or fillers and contains about 32 kcal per pouch. It can also be used as a topper for wet food or kibble.
This cat found it to have too much broth and not enough salmon and tuna but I'm gonna give two of you a chance to make up your own minds about this healthy snack or topper. Yep, this is a giveaway! Two winners will receive a case of 12 1.75-oz pouches of the Wellness CORE® Simply Shreds™ Grain-Free Wet Cat Food Toppers of their choice thanks to Chewy.com.

Too much broth? Olive would tell you that's not possible! If I win, any flavor would do, as I'd like to donate it to a colony caretaker I know.

ReplyDeleteThese look like they'd be perfect for Binga's lunch - she always gets a little extra because it's harder for her to keep weight on.
ReplyDeleteI think my cat would like one of the fish/seafood flavors best
ReplyDeleteAmarula would agree with you! She is anti-broth as well!
ReplyDeleteToo much broth??? Mudpie says there's no such thing as too much broth ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree about too much broth. We have the chicken ones and I get broth all over my hands like tuna juice whenever I open a packet.
ReplyDeletei dont have cats but would love this prize to donate to safe haven for cats. i think i would like the Wild Salmon & Tuna and the Tuna & Shrimp.
ReplyDeleteMy cat would love tuna and shrimp!
ReplyDeleteIf I win I would give this to my brother for his cats. I think they would enjoy both of them but especially the Wild Salmon & Tuna flavor.
ReplyDeleteI think my cats would like Boneless Chicken.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it would make a light and healthy snack :-)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great snack idea for my crew! They usually want some crack around bedtime, but this would be better.
ReplyDeleteWe have three cats. Our old girl, Moko, has been having medical issues and I'm having trouble finding things she'll eat. I'd get the chicken to try with her first (and should she not eat it, the other two will gobble it up).
ReplyDeleteCashmere says there's no such thing as too much broth! In fact, with her new meds, I have to make even more broth for her and she loves it, whew!
ReplyDeleteMEssers Ken and Parker Kats would love to receive anything from the love of their lives. Your homey is really embarrassed by them. 😥
ReplyDeleteWe've been wanting to try these! Unfortunately we're in Canadaaa!
ReplyDeleteSalmon and tuna!!!!!! These might be perfect for Ellie - because, like Kitty did, she gets the food in her mouth long enough to get the gravy off - and then spits out the chunks all around the bowl (ugh!). I give the cats a wet food treat every night ... and these are the perfect sizes for that! No open cans in the refrigerator!
ReplyDeleteYin and Yang are hoping to win the Tuna and Shrimp. Chimera said she might even take a nibble, and she usually won't eat wet food.
ReplyDeleteSounds tasty. Thunder would like to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteMy kitty Jake would like all the flavors, but I think the salmon and tuna would be best.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that I didn't already have your FB page liked, CK! This food looks interesting; we need to tempt Chucky to eat more.
ReplyDeleteMy cat's love anything with salmon in it!!
ReplyDeleteMine will love any one with fish in it :)
