Friday is here! TGIF and all that jazz. Have I got some excitement for you! We've got fotos! We've got fill-ins! We've got fun! I've also got an important question for you.
Do you drink enough water? TW certainly doesn't. Apparently, last month was Pet Hydration Month so every pet and their uncle was giving away one fountain or another. I shouldn't talk since I won one of them but I was having flashbacks reading them all. And speaking of flashbacks, let's get to our regularly scheduled program.
This falls under the category, if it fits; I sits. #3297, picked by the Menagerie Mom over at Four Legged Furballs, is a flashback to August 2011. TW doesn't drink much—water, that is—so she buys water to try to convince herself to drink more. She thinks our tap water tastes terrible. It hasn't worked. On the other paw, it gives me another box to try out. Unfortunately, the water companies have stopped using boxes and just wrap them in plastic now.
Wrapping paper! What's better than miles of wrapping paper except maybe miles of tissue paper? Kitties Blue wanted to see #2047 from Christmas Day 2011 so I am obliging. This isn't my most stunning angle. Seems like TW was more focused on everyone seeing the design on the paper than my stunning face. What's that guy in the red suit got on me? TW kept clicking away from all angles and perspectives. At the beginning of the shoot, I had made a wrapping paper tent but then scaled to to the top of the heap cos I'm "A-number one." She's always looking for a fresh design for my Christmas cards but nothing to see (or use) here.
The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. I'll try my best to provide truthful answers. No fake news on this blog.
1. Meetings suck. That's what Pop always says.
2. Rules are meant to be broken. I never follow rules.
3. The best time to eat or play is when TW is busy on the computer and she gets really upset and frustrated. The alternative is when she's ready to go out.
4. I have learned there are no consequences to biting Pop. TW yells and won't play with me the rest of the day but Pop will continue loving me after he washes the blood off.
Now I've got a fill-in for you that you can answer in the comments.
If I wasn't a [fill in your cat breed], I'd like to be a ________________.
Miss CK., Don't tell me she want to borrow your fountain ??? =^x^=
ReplyDeleteMy momma drinks flavored fizzy water to get herself to drink more water.
ReplyDeleteCK, my human doesn't care for plain water... unless she is eating something salty! When she goes to a restaurant, she has at least two or three glasses of water! So when she is home, she drinks flavored water like Propel because she needs something she can taste. It's pricey, but she keeps hydrated.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest... I love being me! So I don't think I'd want to be any other breed of kitty, or another species.
Great ones CK! Oh, christmas paper, we better get our tree up!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, water is very important!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right that rules are meant to be broken :)

We're big water splashers here. Oh, did we say splashers? We meant to say drinkers. Hey, not our fault we have two fountains and about a zillion water bowls. Love your fill-ins, especially number four! MOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat fotos. The first one is so cute! Rules are meant to be broken for sure, at least for kitties :-)
ReplyDeleteck; noe matter de angle ewe iz stunning....theeze R sum grate pix two day and de FSG said ta tell pops......big time........if we waz knot domestic short hair and norwegian forest mix we wood like ta bee any big cat speecheez

We always love seeing our #s picked for the fill-ins! Of course, we always love seeing all of the others as well, because any photo starring CK is bound to be a masterpiece. Staying hydrated can be really tough, especially when you're a kitty who likes to slap your water around until the bowl's empty, because then after the water slap-fest, there's no water left in the bowl to drink. Evan knows all about this. Boys.
ReplyDeleteI don't follow rules either! I'm the one who makes the rules over here in our corner of the world.
And your bonus fill-in sure has me thinking, CK. Hmmm...If I wasn't an adorable short-haired grey tabby cutie, I'd like to be a mirror. I love mirrors, because they reflect my adorableness. I like to sit in front of my mom's bathroom mirror and gaze into my eyes for hours. Hmm, maybe I already am part mirror?
Purrs, Thimble
What the human with the opposable thumbs here should have typed was that we like when our foto #s get picked. Ugh, humans. You just can't find decent help these days.
DeleteThe Christmas photo reminded me of all the drama over your uninvited (at least by you) Christmas visitor last year. Poor kid ... he wasn't even house-trained ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is funny that both photos chosen were from 2011. I like them both. Tell TW to drink lots of water, I recently read that dehydration can cause a blood clot. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is nice of your Pop to not get mad at you for biting. I agree that rules should be broken :) Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteWe had a gravity waterer, but my cat Jake found out it would bubble when you spilled water out of it. He ended up dragging it across the floor, spilling water the whole way. If Jake wasn't a domestic short hair, I think he would like to be a black panther.
ReplyDeleteYour Pop is very understanding to not mind when you bite him. I was lucky that Eric and Flynn never tried to bite me.
ReplyDeleteCats have no rules, no laws; it's all what they want, in the split second they want it!
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't a tortie, I'd like to be a...um...I can't imagine wanting to be anything other than a tortie! Sorry! --Mudpie
ReplyDeleteWe didn't give away a fountain but our video for the one we reviewed is now on the company's web site. Not so shabby Pet Hydration Month!
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn's mum sent us the link to Eric's water fountain video, I hope you can see it, it's fun!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6KzzMAtjPw&feature=youtu.be
Aw, your Pop sounds like a good guy for not holding biting against you.
ReplyDeleteClaire is not a huge fan of plain water. She only drinks it during her workouts, otherwise she drinks green tea or black tea. Purrs
ReplyDeleteHrm. I'll fill in for Allie and Maxie: "If I wasn't a tuxie or a Meezer, I'd wanna be a TONK!" *bows* ~Faraday
ReplyDeleteThat #3297 is awesome, CK. You look like a turtle (a stunning turtle) with a clear shell!
ReplyDeleteOh, and we agree with Pop about #1. Just saying.
Lily Olivia says that if she wasn't a regular short-haired American calico (not a breed), she'd like to be a dog. She says she knows how to bark, and that dogs get table scraps. Wow, Mom thinks we must have picked that number a couple of years ago 'cause that is our dad's birth day and birth year. Even though we don't see your face; we like the photo. Nothing better than wrapping and tissue paper in which to play. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with your pop on #1!
