Wednesday Word—Chance

Take a chance on me!

What if I told you for a limited time only you could bid on this kitteh? You could plop down some green papers, take one of these blue raffle coupons and be entered in a drawing for a stunning Russian Blue/DSH diva. That seems pretty far-fetched, doesn’t it?

It is but you can bid on an auction item that I’m donating to a great cause.  I’ve donated a package of three colorful pairs of Hello Kitty ankle socks and will include a lock of stunning Russian Blue furs to help a cat in need. No, this kitteh’s not for sale but please read on.

Keep the coupon but not The Cat.
Today’s word could also be caring. We all need to feel that somebuddy cares about us. Pop and TW care about me although when they’re busy and ignore me I’m not feeling it. What if I told you there’s a little injured kitteh in SC who needs us to care about him?

Bootsie got himself in a predicament. His ear is in terrible shape from an untreated bout with mites last September. There are all kinds of yucky blisters and stuff in there. He needs surgery and that costs money—$2000 to be exact. You can read more deets or make a donation if you’d like on the YouCaring page set up by Terry and Brian from Brian’s Home. You can also share about the donation page because sharing is caring if you can’t afford to donate.

Now there’s another fun way to help Bootsie have his surgery and be on the road to recovery. Marjorie of Dash Kitten has put together an auction to help defray the mounting medical bills. Many of the cat bloggers and Twitter anipals have donated some pretty kewl items. There’s jewelry, books, handmade crocheted items and much more. Take a peak at the All Ears for Bootsie auction page. I’m sure you’ll find something you like. New items are being added daily. In fact rumor has it I’m also (finally) putting together another CD of the Greatest Songs U Never Heard. I hope to have it up for bidding soon.

Anyone want to bid on The Cat? I’m going once … going twice … to the highest bidder.

OK, it’s not actually ME—but you will go over to check out the items on All Ears for Bootsie anyway, right? Don’t make me get all feral on you.  Please help give Bootsie a second chance at life.
