I love how Groom Genie feels on my furs. It makes me calm and relaxed and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.—Cathy Keisha
When our Groom Genie arrived at the condo, Pop thought it was a “cheap piece of plastic.” Looks can be deceiving. Groom Genie proved him wrong. It’s sturdy and does the job better than some groomers costing more. Better still, The Cat likes it. Even better than that, I’m going to give you a chance to win your own Groom Genie so you can see how sturdy it is for yourself!
Allow CK to give you the 411 on the Groom Genie. It's based on the Knot Genie brush that revolutionized detangling brushes for humans. Parents found that the Knot Genie detangled without pulling or pain and they began using it on their fur children opening up a whole new market. Soon the Groom Genie was born. The light-colored base and bristles make it easy to detect issues like flea dirt in your pet’s fur. It’s design gives pet staff more control so they can adjust their pressure to each pet’s unique needs.
Aaah, that’s the spot, Pop! See, I’m not even biting him. |
Seriously, why did you stop? |
Pop says using the Groom Genie couldn’t be easier. It’s designed to fit into your hand and it does. Pop says it fits so well into the palm of his hand, it’s like brushing me with his hand. He uses the same motion he uses when he pets me and I like that. I can fall asleep purring while he’s
When he uses other pet grooming tools on me, a lot of fur collects at the base of my tail and I wind up swallowing it. Groom Genie picks up all the loose fur and it’s easy to clean. TW lifted the fur off in one layer. You can wash it in soapy water. Pop says the only thing that would make the Groom Genie easier would be a strap to hold it on his hand. Humans are lazy like that.

Waffles: I'd use it on the Boss.
ReplyDeleteKatie: I'd use it on Waffles. But I might not follow the manufacturer's directions when using it. (heh, heh)
(oh, and we're CATS.)
I wonder how it works on longer haired kitties. It's great that you enjoy the Groom Genie because it's important to keep your Stunning furs looking their most lustrous.
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those and my human hasn't tried it on me or Binga or Boodie yet - she needs to get working!
ReplyDeleteI guess if you say it's good, CK, it must be darned good!!
ReplyDeleteIt must be very good CK, look at that big smile on your face!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm... have a delicious week!!!
ReplyDeleteJust kitties in our house, so that's who'd be using it.
ReplyDeleteWe don't like being brushed, but since you like the Groom Genie, maybe we will like it, too!
ReplyDeleteWe all LOVE...LOVE...LOVE our Groom Genie and will be blogging about it soon! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all who enter!!! The only reason we aren't entering is we love what we are currently using (and have used for years) and "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
ReplyDeletecatchatwithcarenandcody
I bet my kitties would love this!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice product, I have been planning to get something better than the dollar store brush I have. I love the photos that show your adorable bikini :)
ReplyDeleteAnything that makes it easy for the peeps to help us groom is a good thing CK!
ReplyDeleteSounds great ! Good luck to our US friends ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks like you really loved this product, CK! You are so cute. :) Manna loves the Groom Genie too. It's a deceivingly cool little tool!

Wow...looks like you really enjoy it, CK!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, that would be great for my FrankieKitty who doesn't like to be brushed, but loves to be petted.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like one nifty grooming tool, CK!
ReplyDeleteGosh! Wes could use one of those around here, but alas, wes lives 100 yards north of the border. Mes shall has to send Mommy out to get one

That Groom Genie looks awesome, and it sounds great, CK. We bet Moosey, Gracie and Zoe would enjoy it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to get one of those groom genies. One kitty loves to be brushed the other not so much. Likes to bite and I need all my blood. and fingers. Maybe the kid will like it better than the brush.
ReplyDeleteYou look . . . GLORIOUS. I would like to come over RIGHT NOW and curl up with you, And maybe let your Pops groom me with that thing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful review and looks like a great product for sure. CK, you are so adorbs in all those photos!
ReplyDeleteIt looks terrific CK and with your recommendation - you are a cat with high standards and we respect your opinions. We will see if we can get one in New Zealand - it sound very reassuring for us cats.
ReplyDeleteThe groom genie looks great! I'd love to enter your competition, but unfortunately my kitty Loki and I are a long way from the US. We don't have a brush at all for him so I'll have to look into getting one of these.
ReplyDeleteI would use it for my cats.
ReplyDeleteNow we think we like that. M said she may have to get one of those if I don't win one. She uses the Furminator on me, but I don't like it much. Sometimes when I'm on her lap, she uses a slicker brush, which I enjoy. So the Groom Genie sounds like a purrfecr thing for me.
ReplyDeleteWe all loved getting groomed this would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great tool! I'm especially glad to see that it's easy to clean. So many of these brushes pick up hair just fine, but then the air is just packed in there and impossible to get out! Drives me crazy.
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie

We wonder how that would work on our thick, long floof.
