Groom Genie Works Like Magic

I love how Groom Genie feels on my furs. It makes me calm and relaxed and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.—Cathy Keisha

When our Groom Genie arrived at the condo, Pop thought it was a “cheap piece of plastic.” Looks can be deceiving. Groom Genie proved him wrong. It’s sturdy and does the job better than some groomers costing more. Better still, The Cat likes it. Even better than that, I’m going to give you a chance to win your own Groom Genie so you can see how sturdy it is for yourself!

Allow CK to give you the 411 on the Groom Genie. It's based on the Knot Genie brush that revolutionized detangling brushes for humans. Parents found that the Knot Genie detangled without pulling or pain and they began using it on their fur children opening up a whole new market. Soon the Groom Genie was born. The light-colored base and bristles make it easy to detect issues like flea dirt in your pet’s fur. It’s design gives pet staff more control so they can adjust their pressure to each pet’s unique needs.

Aaah, that’s the spot, Pop! See, I’m not even biting him.

Seriously, why did you stop?

Pop says using the Groom Genie couldn’t be easier. It’s designed to fit into your hand and it does. Pop says it fits so well into the palm of his hand, it’s like brushing me with his hand. He uses the same motion he uses when he pets me and I like that. I can fall asleep purring while he’s petting brushing me. Because his hand is so close to me, he can feel if there’s any unusual bumps, hot spots, bald spots or anything else that shouldn’t be there.

When he uses other pet grooming tools on me, a lot of fur collects at the base of my tail and I wind up swallowing it. Groom Genie picks up all the loose fur and it’s easy to clean. TW lifted the fur off in one layer. You can wash it in soapy water. Pop says the only thing that would make the Groom Genie easier would be a strap to hold it on his hand. Humans are lazy like that.

  1. Waffles: I'd use it on the Boss.

Katie: I'd use it on Waffles. But I might not follow the manufacturer's directions when using it. (heh, heh)

    (oh, and we're CATS.)

  20. I'm going to have to get one of those groom genies. One kitty loves to be brushed the other not so much. Likes to bite and I need all my blood. and fingers. Maybe the kid will like it better than the brush.

  24. The groom genie looks great! I'd love to enter your competition, but unfortunately my kitty Loki and I are a long way from the US. We don't have a brush at all for him so I'll have to look into getting one of these.

  25. Now we think we like that. M said she may have to get one of those if I don't win one. She uses the Furminator on me, but I don't like it much. Sometimes when I'm on her lap, she uses a slicker brush, which I enjoy. So the Groom Genie sounds like a purrfecr thing for me.

  27. That looks like a great tool! I'm especially glad to see that it's easy to clean. So many of these brushes pick up hair just fine, but then the air is just packed in there and impossible to get out! Drives me crazy.
