I’m A Sleepy Time Cat …

… who can sleep practically anywhere even atop my Tree of Pain. Cats get a bad rap cos people think we sleep too much. That’s why this week’s 52 Snapshots challenge—Sleepy—fits us purrfectly.

As you are well aware of, I’m not like other cats. I’ve never slept as much, preferring to follow TW around and cajole her into playing with me. That doesn’t mean I don’t sleep. I sleep most of the night and get Sleepy when TW ignores me as she often does. In fact, I’m sleepy right now as I lay in my mauve thing and dictate this post.

Since the actual challenge is Sleepy and not sleep, you’ll see my eyes are just the slightest bit open as I fight the sleep. TW read somewhere that yawning is natures way of fighting sleep. I guess that’s why I yawn when I wake up and right before I go to sleep at night.

Yeah, I’m sleepy. Nothing to see here, Woman. Kindly move along.

It’s now time to turn into a kreative kitteh for the Caturday Art Blog Hop. You can tell I’m sleepy in this image that we "arted" a bunch of weeks ago using a Cartoonizer photoshop action and a few filters. I love the background textures it added. The pic was originally a dark photo with too many yellows and greens cos it was taken without flash in a room illuminated by one CFL bulb near my head. You can biggify it to see the nuances.
