Joyful Friday Foto Frenzy

I’ve decided to switch it up and participate in 52 Snapshots of Life hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull on Friday cos there’s just too much going on Saturday. You know I have to let you in on what happened to George’s kitties! TW hasn’t written it yet so I don’t even know how it ends. The Snapshot's theme is Joyful and TW is joyful that our BtC4A post is behind us. MOL! Seeing the kitties eat also makes us happy but this blog is about ME and only ME. 52 Snapshots is a blog hop so be sure to check out the other Joyful entries.


With the possible exception of biting one of my peeps, nothing makes me more Joyful than when Pop FURminates me. I thought I was going to hate it when I won my first FURminator but it turned out to be one of the simple joys of my life. Part of my morning routine is a FURminating, especially during the Spring and Summer, and I purr and make biscuits throughout the session.

Keeping with the spirit it the Friday Foto Frenzy, the above foto was not cropped or edited except to add the foto corners. That’s why Pop’s ample stomach is still in the pic as opposed to the top foto here it was cropped.

For those new to the Foto Frenzy, the fotos in my folder are numbered. There are over 4500. When a number is picked by one of you, I post the corresponding foto without any Photoshop edits and tell the story behind it. Believe me, TW’s photographs need all the help they can get. She’s not a photographer, that’s for certain. You’d think since she had such a stunning subject, all fotos would be winners and you’d be wrong.

The first true Foto Frenzy choice goes to Summer at Sparklecat.com. She’s going with #4539. TW is always looking for a foto opportunity with me peeking around a corner. Any corner. Even the corner of a cat tree. The kibble in the background is for the ferals. I’m looking at her like she’s a nut, which she is. I’m also looking for a good caption for this foto?

 #666 was picked by Satan Travis, Crockett and Angelique who are collectively Lone Star Cats. There’s breakable stuff in this cabinet and I want IN. Pop has part of his Cow Parade and Mary Moo Moo cow collections in there. Yeah, he’s got a soft soft for cows, which is why we don’t eat them. I want a piece of that action.

If you’ve suggested a number and haven't seen it yet, it’s coming. There’s only one foto so far that TW turned down cos of sensitive subject matter. Besides a holy mess, there are even some identity issues. Clean up your act, Woman! Does your weekend include snoopervising the humans as they do their housecleaning chores? This is a long holiday weekend for some humans, including my Pop.

    Your furminating picture reminds me to bite the Human to complain that I have not been furminated in WEEKS, WEEKS, CK! How neglectful is that?? You look soooooooooooooo happies. Purrrrrrrrr.

    You look very happy being furminated. I used to love it but mum only uses the zoom groom on me now because she is afraid it will hurt me because I am so skinny. I don't like being skinny. I wish I was big and mancatly again.

    Stunning CK checks out the Cabinet of Curiosities would make a good title for the #666 photograph we thinks. For #4539 CK's eyes were bigger than her stomach. We aren't very fond of our FURminator mainly because we don't like sitting/standing still.
