Guess What I Got!

Hola kitties! It's Monday but I'm not doing a Music Monday this week. I'll explain more about that later. I got a brand new and exciting toy, The Cat says sarcastically. When a kitty's staff notices kitty needs something new to play with, most go out and buy kitty a new toy. Something with nip in it or a wand toy that's way overpriced. Not The Woman. Listen to what she did.

Guess What I Got!

She washed the cap of her carrot juice and flung it on the floor. Tadaaa! Excuse me, Woman? Um, is that for me? You expect me to play with that?

Guess What I Got!

OK, so I like milk carton rings, straws and the safety seals around vitamin bottles. That doesn't mean I'm a cheap date. And so I've been playing with it like crazy—throwing it in the air, bunnykicking it and chasing after it. It's the principle of the thing aka the cheapness factor. Yeah, yeah, Woman. So the juice cost a fortune. You drank it all, not me. This is NOT a $6 toy!

Guess What I Got!

When I wasn't playing with the cap, I was guarding it. Pop threw it up on the bed so I could play up there. I'm very good at guarding my stuff even if it's just a piece of garbage.

Guess What I Got!

Here I'm going after TW's hand when she tried to take it.

Someday I'm sure I'll look back at this and laugh. Seriously, are your peeps this cheap?

Seriously about that Music Monday thing. Those people don't deserve me and my musical knowledge. Pop was a radio DJ and TW wrote for some music papers. I visit and comment on each and every one on the blog hop and maybe 4-5 of them visit me. When they do visit, they make fun of my musical choices cos they don't know very much about music they're not familiar with them. Really, not familiar with R.E.M. or Nirvana? They've both had #1 records. Yeah, I can play someone really out there but when some don't recognize popular bands, I can only shake my head. I'll have some tunes for you next week.

Would you like to comment?

  2. That looks like a good toy to me. It might be cheap but they are often the best.
I like your music choices, and if I haven't heard of some of them before it is good to hear new to me songs/artistes.

  5. We spend all kinds of $$ on toys, and the Catscue Cats only play with bottle caps, ping pong balls and shoelaces - go figure! You look beautiful today sweetie.

  6. CK, it's not the cost of the toy, it's the presentation of it! The Woman gets a D minus this time. When I dropped the top of my water bottle on the floor the other day, and Da Boyz jumped on it, and started a terrific game of floor hockey, I awarded myself a solid B for improvisation!

  7. I was repairing a sewing machine and a screw fell on the floor. A free for all started, I luckily I was the winners. Cats don’t have an RDA for screws.

  8. Our people give us rings from the water jugs and hair scrunchies to play with.

  9. I am glad you like your toys. And we know you favorite toy is hand to bite :)
That is not nice of anyone to make fun of your choices, I like all your music choices. And I understand about hops, I try to visit everyone in a hop and many don't visit back which I thought was the whole point. I am glad you will still have some music next week for us. Maybe you can start a music hop of your own- I would hop with you. XO

  10. I don't usually read the comments, so I had no idea how clueless some people are about music! My human loves your music choices, and hates most everyone else's, so there you go.

  13. We have very different musical tastes but I always enjoy your posts and musical knowledge! Mudpie's favorite toys are balled up candy wrappers so she's a cheap date too. At least TW's OJ is healthier than little chocolate bars!

  14. I didn't always like the music that you picked, but I enjoyed listening to your selections. Plus I did find different artists/songs that I hadn't heard before. My cats favorite toy is the safety ring from the mayonnaise jar.

We understand how you feel when you hop along everyone and no one comes to you :( We also skip this week, because we have to catch up on our visitors too, you were the first one on our list, because you're a faithful hopper and we love that, so we try to be that too...not that we're able to do that always tho...💗
You guard your toy very..brave and with a certain kind of elegance and cuteness, very sweet :D
Pawkisses for a happy week ahead🐾😽💞

  18. {SNIFF} Before we started blogging, all my toys were homemade or hand-me-downs from Kitty. Phht. Like I want to Nip in another cat's dried saliva! Momma said I'm tough on toys - and that much is true. No store-bought toy could stand up to me for very long! ~Bear Cat
