11 Important Questions For Your Human

Hola kitties! I thought I'd take a page out of Summer's playbook with this post. TW gets a daily email newsletter from a human site that offers tips on lots of human things. I was laying on the corner of the bed looking over her shoulder and the one she was reading caught my eye. I thought it would make a great topic for a cat blog.

11 Important Questions For Your Human

I've done a lot of posts where I answer questions about myself. Today I'm gonna delve into a topic that should be on the lips of house cats everywhere. What questions should humans ax themselves to find out how they actually feel about us and what can they do to make our lives better? The human-cat bond is very important to the cat. After all our human should be the center of our lives and we should be the center of their lives too.

1.  How can I make your day better? Maybe they can play with you more or give you more treats. Simply spending more time with you would make your day better.

2.  What could I do to make you feel more loved? If there's a place in the house you aren't allowed, perhaps that place should be opened up to you. Oh sure, a human will pet and kiss you but those aren't the only ways to show love. I know I'd feel more loved if they shared more of their human food with me and didn't eat junk like spinach quiche.

3.  What could I do to make you feel more respected? Does she get up as soon as you approach looking hungry? Is your dinner often late? Those are signs of disrespect. I'd feel more respected if TW came the first time I called her.

4.  What could I do to make you feel more understood? Does your human really understand you? Does s/he know what you're trying to tell her by your actions and vocalizations? TW sometimes understands me too well and sometimes not at all.

5.  What could I do to make you feel more secure? Does your human often come home smelling of strange cat or worse yet has s/he brought home a strange cat? If that's the case, I bet you don't feel too secure. Have they planned for your future should anything happen to them?

6.  What could I do to make you feel more appreciated? What does your human think she can do to make you feel more appreciated. Perhaps more food, more brushing or more playtime or even a cleaner litter box.

7.  Are you happy? Your human can control if you're happy or sad. Don't believe that old "life is what you make it" cliché. TW says I look depressed and dejected sometimes. She needs to think what she could do to make me look happy 24/7.

8.  How do you envision our future together? You read about so many cats who are abandoned because their human had a baby or moved or some poor excuse. Would your human ever do that to you? I hope I'm going to get old here but I'd like to know what exactly TW is thinking. I know Pop hopes I'll live a long life and won't suffer any major diseases. I think they worry about my quality of life when I get older. I want to know for sure.

9.  Do you feel like we spend enough time together? I know YOU think your human doesn't spend enough time with you, but do they think they do? Seriously, some humans think if they feed us, scoop our box and put a few nippy toys down for us they're spending enough time. TW says I'm a time hog since the more playtime I get, the more I crave.

10.  Is there anything I can do to make your day easier? What cat wouldn't want to know this from their human. Humans should always be putting their cats first and trying to make things easier.

11.  Of our blogging furrends, who do you think has the best relationship with their human and why? No, don't answer it now. This is for your human to answer. I think I know the answer to this and it's not me.

  14. Parker has the best relationship with all humans. He is in our vet's top 4 cats. He sits at attention for all visitors, doesn’t run away and allows a pet after they stop reeling from shock over his size. He demands treats and gets more than anyone else.
