Feral Friday: Back End Edition

Hola kitties! The title will have meaning when you look at both Flashback Foto Frenzy picks. Incredible how that happens when two compatible fotos come out from the randomizer. Speaking of incredible, can you believe that once again the peeps have given up eating meat twice a week for Lent? They do this to me every year cos giving up meat is easier for them then giving up chocolate. Once again, The Cat suffers for the peeps' sins. Literally.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

Let's get frenzied. Each week two readers pick the fotos they want to see and I tell a bit about them. Except for the watermark and number, they're not photoshopped in any way*. This week's fotos were chosen respectively—or it that respectfully?—by Angels Eric and Flynn's mum and the Tabbies o' Trout Towne.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

I love how wide our window sills are. I have plenty of room to sit there and watch the world go by as I was doing this clear day in June 2011. #1812 taken in June 2011 was chosen by the mum of Angels Eric and Flynn. This was before that vet turned me upside down which left me with asthma. I enjoyed window whiffies and had been laying with my nose right up against the screen. This was the last of a long foto session.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

You don't often see action shots but #7933 from February 2017 is such a shot. I was up on the desk nosing around the computer cos TW was playing a video that innerested me. When she got out the flashy box, I skedaddled out of there. From the desk I jumped onto the Biting Bush and was about to jump onto the floor. Thanks to the Trout Towne Tabbies for selecting this burdless foto.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

This graphic means it's time for the Friendly Fill-Ins, a feature held once a week at this time. Let's meet our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics with further comments in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number three. This was an old header I used before the Glogirly redesign.

1. I admire myself and nobody else. I hope that other's will have answered this question by admiring this little ghetto kitteh too. What does TW mean by it's the tough job but someone has to do it?

2. I can't wait for the tuna bone I planted to bloom. I wonder if tuna grows on a vine or a bush.

3. I'm proud to say I'm the world's most stunning cat. That was the original name of this blog. If you read it on the internet, it has to be true.

4. Seeing the PTU moved from the living room make(s) me nervous. That can only mean one thing.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

TW makes a big deal out of everything. She decided to use something from my portfolio rather than wait for me to paint something new to save time. It took her just as long or longer to settle on a piece to use.

Feral Friday: Back End Edition

After she took this out of my portfolio, she decided it needed more color so she put an abstract color overlay—or color wash as I would call it—on top in Photoshop. The colors are nicer but the brushstrokes were lost if I didn't biggify it.

These are my entries in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to provide a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into works of art.

  1. I admire you, CK! You were already an experienced and popular blogger when I inherited Sparkle's blog, and I really looked up to you and the other kitties who were friends of Sparkle.

  2. That first effect is my favorite - probably ever. CK, you know what you have to do ... no meat? I guess you'll have to find your own (poor TW)!

  3. Oh my, we hope that tuna plant blooms soon too CK! Love your stunning art!

  4. I like the photo I chose with you looking out the window. I like your fill ins, and of course I admire you just as Flynn did.
Both artsy pics are good, but my favourite is the first one. You are so stunning that you don't need extra colour.

  6. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I do admire you even though that wasn't my answer for #1. Good luck with that tuna bone, I hear they are very hard to get started :) I love your photos and your beautiful art. I don't eat meat on Fridays during Lent and we don't eat it on Ash Wednesday, but I eat it other Wednesdays- am I not supposed to? I don't know why I bother, I gave up ice cream and chocolate too, but I never go to church.Have a nice weekend! XO Ps: My cats have windowsill envy :)

  7. Like Miss Ellen, Mom doesn't eat meat on Ash Wednesdays or Fridays during lent but doesn't give it up the rest of the time.

We can't wait to see the first blossom from your Tuna plant!

We like your original artwork best but the colorful one is nice too.

  8. You are looking terrific CK. I know we haven't been by for quite some time. Did ya miss us? We think the artst fartsy pictures were very well done. Tour fill-ins were very truthful and #4 has the same reaction with me.

  9. Tuna bone?!?!?! The other day Mudpie stunned me when she drank nearly an entire can's worth of tuna juice. She would love that window too!

  10. You have a nice back end, CK. :) Our peeps aren’t eating meat on Fridays during Lent but that’s okay with us.

  11. You're lucky to have such wide windowsills! Let us know how that tuna bone and blooming goes!

  12. The peeps here aren't big meat eaters anyway, but heaven help a turkey or a chicken, so that's cool. Fish on Fridays is a given and that's cool, too! - Tom x

  13. Both of the art efforts are stunning, but we like the first one best, as we can see all the details (including you) better. A PTU on the dining room table makes us all nervous at our house. We need to pick a couple of photos. Hope they haven't been done already. #3003 #6428

  17. CK, we hate to break it to you but Tuna doesn't grow on a vine or a bush, it swims in the sea. That said we are trying to talk our Mommy into being very brave and going to sea in the kayak to catch us one.

We love your art work, we like the first one the best but the red one is bright and cheerful. We just think the first one shows up your pretty face more.

  21. CK, you're a genius! Not that that's a surprise. But, really, we hadn't thought of planting a tuna bone. We're getting right on that now, though, and we hope it grows fast.
