Look What They Done to My Claws, Ma

Hola kitties! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for this kitteh and not entirely the good kind. Yesterday both TW and Pop were cavorting with Pinera and her ebony furrend. I hear-tell from my sources that those cats were rolling all over the peeps. Then there's the relentless teasing I've been getting cos the evil vet stole my claws right down to the quick.

Yes, apparently TW doesn't think they'll grow back sharper than ever. When I'm on the Tower of Power, she taunts me with her fingers and when I grab her with my nubs, she laughs that demonic laugh of her's. She also knows that claws are very important to cats but doesn't seem to care that they made me defenseless.

Guess what, TW. Whichever stunning cat laughs last, laughs best.

RIP, beautiful, sharp claws (above).

On another note, I hope you like the lead images we've been making for my posts. We've been using Canva and having fun since our images don't look anything like the templates we start out with. Adobe just added Adobe Spark to our Creative Cloud plan so we thought we'd play with it and create today's image. They don't have nearly as many pre-made templates as Canva and the learning curve to customize them is almost over TW's head but she managed to produce a workable image.

This is the pic we cropped for the lead image. It's all in how you crop an image.

  1. My human trims my claws all the time! They are probably shorter than yours. I'm pretty well defenseless, so it is a good thing she works as my bodyguard.

  2. Don't worry, CK, they will grow back soon. I know you will be working on them to get them sharpened to deadly points once again.

  9. I trim my kitties’ claws all the time. The show kitties have to be trimmed. And the other get trimmed if it hurts to cuddle them or they start sticking to the rug.

  13. Momma clips our claws almost every week and you'd better believe she walks away bleeding every time. Phht. She says if we didn't use our claws, she wouldn't have to clip them What kind of nonsense is that? ~Bear Cat

  14. I hope you get your claws back soon! I'm sure you will. I can clip all my cats' claws by myself except for Harley. I can do his front ones a few at a time by myself, but I usually recruit the hubby to help.
