Mixing It Up on Feral Friday

Hola kitties! The Halloween tablecloth is finally still on the table, the candy has been bought and the Christmas lights have been lit. We're all ready for the jollies to begin with The Cat in the thick of it. The peeps bought a ton of candy since last year there were about 50 tricksters but this year there was only 10. Wonder if the witch on the door scared them As you know on Friday we combine three posts into one cos TW is too lazy to post every day. Bast knows we have enough content.

Mixing It Up on Feral Friday

I'm gonna mix things up today and start with the Friendly Fill-ins so those who come over from that blog hop don't have to read the Foto Frenzy part of the post unless they really want to. The Friendly Fill-Ins is a feature held once a week at this time. Let's meet our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics with further comments in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number four.

Mixing It Up on Feral Friday

1. One can of cat food is opened every morning and one every evening.  For lunch a pouch is opened. That is the way I like it.

2. Given the choice of Pop's bed or TW's bed, I would pick TW's bed. Three words: pillow top mattress. I love Pop but that pillow top is just so soft and comfy. That's why I raise such a stink when TW kicks me out rather than sleep on Pop's hard as cement mattress. Besides, I sleep in his room all day so it doesn't seem like I'm going to bed in there. I do have a choice of my igloo or cube and I've been using both during the day but I need the pillow top to ensure that I have sweet dreams at night.

3. Having a home makes me feel superior to the outside ferals. Of course I feel bad for them too. I wish they all could have loving homes. I mean I'm feral and I found a home. I guess they need to find soft touches like my peeps. I feel really bad for the kittens cos a lot of them don't have to grow up feral if a rescue scoops them up early enough.

4. I never go a day without running through my tunnels and jumping up the Tower of Power aka my new cat tree. Occasionally I will go a day without attacking anyone.

It's Flashback Friday and I have some very early fotos to share. Each foto has been chosen by one of my readers and hasn't been edited except to add a watermark and number. I still have lots of numbers but will put out a casting call when the supply dwindles.

Mixing It Up on Feral Friday

Our first foto of the week is actually one from an older Foto Frenzy but I wanted to show it since it's a number picked this time by Aunt Pauline, who's all finished with her cancer treatment. Hooray! It’s #999 from May 2010 and has a cameo by one HHGutt. This is the pillow where I sleep every night. Actually, I don’t sleep on the pillow anymore cos it was on this pillow I got my first coughing fit and TW is superstitious. Now it’s more of a back rest for me. HHGutt sleeps between me and TW to “protect” her from me. As if. Now he's attacking her so she's not as smart as she thinks she is.

This foto was selected by the Colehaus Cats. They picked #993 from way back in May 2010. I'm looking bright-eyed and alert here but later in the same shoot, I was laying with my neck stuck out which is the pose I assume when I find it hard to breathe. The flashy box literally took my breathe away. I wasn't diagnosed with asthma until about 2013 so the peeps thought I just liked to sleep that way. I wasn't coughing or anything so they figured all was good.

I'm kinda glad to be finished with the Halloween art. I did an ipawd oil painting depicting myself in the condo of the Tower of Power. TW says since I've been climbing the tree, I've gotten even more aggressive—if that's possible—but don't believe her. She hate me. As you can see, I got my nip nanner back.

This is my entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to provide a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into works of art like this one.

If TW can get her act together and they stop stealing our electricity, we should be back with a special post Sunday, which is an important day in the blogging year. Anyone else joining me?

We too cannot go a day without our mad half hour of launching ourselves at the window and then charging up the at tree. Ours is at precisely 9.30pm. What is your favourite time?

I'm glad your Aunt Pauline is finished with the chemo. I hope she is feeling better. Three posts in one is like a buy one get one free special for your fans, except we're not actually paying anything. ;) I hope they don't continue to steal your electricity and that you can post on Sunday.

Now wait just a minute. You sometimes let a day go by without attacking someone, CK? Oh, you probably do that to keep the peeps on their toes, don't you? Yes, that makes sense. Also, your art is gorgeous! It really brings out your stunning smile. Purrs!

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you get fed several times a day. Great photo of you on the bed. I think your Pop should get a memory foam mattress too or even a topper for the mattress. We have a topper on the spare bed and I love to sleep in there for that reason- I tell my hubby he drove me out with snoring though :) I am glad your Aunt Pauline is done with her treatment. You art came out great. XO

We loved your friendly fill-in answers. Our kitties too don't go without a day running around and climbing up the cat tree. Sounds like not to many trick or treaters anymore. Great news about Aunt Pauline. We are very happy for her. Thanks for sharing the loving photos. Have a great rest of your weekend.

I am very glad that you were able to find a home and not have to live the feral life again. Here's hoping the same for all the furry babies out there. I bet your tunnels and tower are loads of fun!

Have a blessed Sunday and week. :)

Hang tough, kitty. Maybe they will get you your own pillow top mattress. Have a blessed week.

Looks like you've got a lot of things there that make being a cat fun. What stopped me in my paws was aggressiveness due to your tree? Maybe the ancestral jungle is coming out or something..not our fault. Later - Tom x Pee Ess: I fed the mouse to the witch.
