Peek-A-BOO Flashback Friday

Hola kitties! Who's up for a game of peek-a-BOO with the accent on the BOO? I knew you would be. I'll hide and you look for me. When you get close, I'll jump out and bite you yell BOO! I bet I can scare you!

Peek A BOO Flashback Friday

Ready? I found some really great hiding places. Come and try to find me.

Peek A BOO Flashback Friday

Peek a BOO! You found me in the bathtub. I can't wait for TW to open the shower curtain. It'll be like Psycho. Heh heh. #1986 from November 2011 was the choice of everybuddy's friends Edie and Jake from It's Never Too Late Pets. Don’t readjust your reading glasses; it’s TW’s cracked fotography. Apparently she was focusing on the shower curtain and not me. Don’t ax me why. I've never been able to figure her out. Back in the days before TW’s shower curtain rod fell down, I loved to hide behind the curtain and peek out. I also loved to make holes in the curtain. It was a hobby of mine. I wonder if that’s why she hasn’t hung another curtain even though Uncle Vince replaced the rod. Nah, she's just too lazy to hang one up. Her loss cos she can’t take a shower no more.

Peek A BOO Flashback Friday

Peek-a-BOO! Can you guess where I am now? I'm behind the peeps' old iMac. Kitties Blue opted to see #1218 just a few weeks ago. Are there any treats back here? I might have to try a few tricks then. Don't mind how wonky my eyes look. I was just staring at the foto above. MOL! This was the second-best of the six shots she took back in September 2010. There's a lot of stuff back here. Of course everything is covered with a foot of dust. Oh wait, maybe it wasn't as dusty eight years ago.

Peek A BOO Flashback Friday

Let's head over to the Friendly Fill-Ins—a feature held once a week at this time—and see what my mission is this week. The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number two.

1. TW is an awful cook. That's why I'm glad I eat cat food and takeout. Seriously, if anything has more than three ingredients, she won't even try to make it. Yesterday she called a recipe an "instruction manual." I'm not kidding either. MOL!

2. I always read the comics sections of the newspaper. TW reads the news, some of the editorials, the OpEd page and does the crossword and sudoku puzzles. I think it's funny when she shakes her head and mutters about what idiots other humans are. Pop reads the sports section and whatever he has time for.

3. Black cats matter. Black cats rock. They're misunderstool and have to face terrible prejudice. I'd like to organize a Million Black Cat March in the Spring.

4. Chinese food is my favorite treat. Did you mean cat treats? I love Greenies SmartBites, Temptations and Kittles best and some fried mice.

I have one more piece of art for Halloween—or Howl-o-ween as I like to call it. I finished this in August so TW forgot all about it. #senile She looked at it like she had no idea where it came from. I don't think she believes that I painted it.

Peek A BOO Flashback Friday

This is my entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to provide a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into works of art like this one.

  6. That shower curtain photo reminds me of why we no longer have a shower curtain. What is it with cats and shower curtains? 😄 Your Saturday art is really cool.

  10. Great photo choices, the shower one is perfect for Halloween/Psycho. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is funny that TW doesn't make recipes that have more than 3 ingredients. Years ago, I had a cookbook of recipes with 5 or less, but 3 is tough. Count my 4 black cats in on your march. I love your art! Have a nice weekend. XO

  17. Perhaps TW has been taking cooking lessons from the Lions on Read Between the Lions. They read that something needs to be cooked, they do not want to wait. So, they eat it raw. Have a blessed week.

  18. CK, if your mom is like mine, she keeps the treats behind a door. My Mom does it to keep me from nibbling on the plastie wrappers. I can't help it if I like doing that! Do you do that, too? You always come up with such eye catching art! Hugs. -Valentine (& Mom Kerry) of Noir Kitty Mews

  19. Do you like sitting in the tub without the curtain? Bentley has tried to climb in the tub when it is thundering. It was a no-go. LOL! THree ingredient meals sound to me! We have become addicted to our local Chinese take-out. It is a new experience for us and it is the best!

  20. Cathy,

I enjoyed not only your fotography of Keisha playing peek-a-boo but your fill-ins. Oh yeah and your phot-artwork - good job! Y'all have a safe and fun Halloween!

  21. You're a peek-a-boo pro, CK! Do your peek-a-boo games every turn into ambushes aimed at an unsuspecting TW? The kitties here think that's the funnest game ever. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Chinese food is a purrfectly acceptable answer for #4, if you ask us. Oh, but now we're drooling...
