A Tree Grows in the Condo

Hola kitties. We decided Pop isn't allowed to take anymore staycations in July or August. For the past two years, the temps have been over 100F every day of those staycations. Both Pop and TW are climbing the walls cos they can't get out. As you know, the peeps don't have a car and walk everywhere. Apparently it can be dangerous for old bags like them to walk three miles in this heat. The good news is Pop has started constructing a cat tree he bought me about five years ago.

A Tree Grows in the Condo

It's an Armarkat cat tree and it's about a hunnert feet tall. They bought it so I could still see out the window after the place next door blocked our view. Lucky for them, the new building hasn't gone up yet; unlucky for me cos I never got the tree. I don't even jump that much anymore so I dunno how much I'm gonna use the upper decks on the 69-in. tree. Anyhoo, I've already used the sisal to scratch on and climbed into the condo part of it.

A Tree Grows in the Condo

The tree wasn't finished when these pics were taken. That's why the cave I'm in is turned sideways. I kinda liked it though. I have a Tree of Pain. Let me know in the comments what I should call this tree.

Tomorrow is a holiday. It's Aunt Pauline's Birthday! Then Friday she starts chemo again so I'm sure she could use some good wishes. We're hoping and purraying she'll be cancer-free by the end of the summer.

Maybe you could name it something like the hunnert year tree, since it took so long for Pop to build it? MOL!
