14 Questions for CK

Hola kitties! I'm fresh off a press conference where I was really grilled. In September I'll be celebrating my 10th Blogoversary so it seems like everybuddy wants a piece of me. The press is hounding me for quotes. I'm sharing what I told them so you can get to know me better. Somehow many of the questions had to do with food rather than blogging.

14 Questions for CK

My answers are in bold cos I'm that important.

When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?
CK: When I was jailed in that steel cage, I thought it was the end but I wound up here which isn't half bad. I fought to get out of the trap but it all worked out to my advantage.

What weird food combinations do you really enjoy?
CK: I enjoy tuna and salmon combos but they're not weird. I also like chicken hearts and liver paté which makes TW make a face. I don't eat really weird stuff like Pop who puts a slice of tomato on top of his peanut butter sammich instead of jelly.

Yes, you in the back. Do you have a question to ax?

What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?
CK: I've heard good things about steak but I've never had it since the peeps don't eat cow. I'll bet a real mouse would taste good too.

14 Questions for CKWhat food is delicious but a pain to eat?
CK: Weruva Pumpkin Lickin' Chicken is good but the shreds are too big and I either wind up leaving them or taking them out of the dish and dragging them on the floor or rug. TW gets all bent outta shape if I leave some on the floor too. I'd have to say food with big chunks of meat are a pain to eat.

What's the most expensive thing you've ever broken?
CK: I'm sure some other kitties can answer this better than me. I'm not the type to knock things off shelves or anything. I've gone through four or five Ultimate scratching posts in my lifetime but those were worn out, not broken.

What would a world populated by clones of you be like?
CK: STUNNING!

What smartphone feature would you actually be excited for a company to implement?
CK: A thumb-simulating app to enable cats to open cat food cans. Yeah, that would be good.

What’s something people don’t worry about but really should?
CK: They should worry about whether they're feeding their cats enough and if they have enough cat food and litter in the house. I hear-tell that some of my furrends' humans actually *run out* of cat food and litter. GASP!

What was cool when you were young but isn’t cool now?
CK: I used to think it was cool to climb up high on the tops of doors and the china closet but now I'm more a ground dweller.

If magic was real, what spell would you try to learn first?
CK: How to turn anything into my favorite foods. No, seriously, I'd cast a spell so that every human would adopt a shelter cat or two and learn how to feed and TNR my homeless brofurs and sisfurs. I'd snap my fingers and open all the cages in kill shelters all over the country. Then I'd turn my magic to the politicians who would pass laws banning declawing. I may or may not do it in that order.

14 Questions for CK
What goal do you think humanity is not focused enough on achieving?
CK: A no-kill world is one that humans could achieve if they tried. Animal control seems to have their priorities in the wrong place. An emphasis is spent on euthanasia rather than TNR. (Surprise! This answer isn't about food.)

If you were a ghost and could possess people, what would you make them do?
CK: I would make the peeps call out for Chinese food six nights a week and Mexican the other night.

What game have you spent the most hours playing?
CK: Foam rockets. Running through my tunnels to chase the rockets. I could play that all day but TW won't oblige me.

What’s the most comfortable bed or chair you’ve ever been in?
CK: HAH! This last question is a fun one. Right now it's my cube. I sleep in it even when it's a hunnert degrees outside and 75F degrees inside. At night I love the bed in TW's room cos of, well, the pillowtop mattress.

Anyone else wanna tackle these questions? Pretend I am the press and I'm axing you these same questions. I'd love to read how you'd answer them so I can learn more about you.

  1. I've never eaten steak, but I have had beef. My mom recently found a beef cat food (My Little Lion) that is pretty darn good, and oh so smooth. You might want to try it as a treat.

  3. Tomatoes on peanut butter! Yuckie! We don't like big chunks either, we too just like the juice. What are they trying to do? Choke us? Just kidding. MOL. We totally agree with the no-kill issue. Education is key! Let's continuing spreading the word! Purrs

  5. You handled the press really well, CK. I like your ghost idea to get the peeps to send out for food, only I would reverse the proportion of Chinese to Mexican because, you know, tacos. :)

  9. This was the most fascinating reading EVER. I am hoping to retrain the Human some pretty soon--Monday was her really-truly last day of work, but she went out all day yesterday and today she's off to the Giants game. This really can't go on--I thought retirement was so she could stay home with ME all the time! XOXOXOX
