Flashback Friday for a Friend

Hola kitties! We have a special edition Flashback Friday today. For today's featured Foto Frenzy, the Randomizer happened to pick two fotos chosen by Aunt Pauline. As you know, she just had surgery and now could use more purrz and prayers as she's begun chemo, which is never easy. She enjoys reading all the messages my furrends post for her and appreciates the well wishes. Uncle Neil and Nickolette are being wonderful nurses. Uncle Neil is a medical professional and a near gourmet cook and Nickolette has intense purr therapy going.

Flashback Friday for a Friend

Whenever I put out a call for more numbers, Aunt Pauline is always happy to help. She's my biggest fan. I'm happy that she chose #6777 cos not only is it a stunning foto, but there's a story behind it.

Flashback Friday for a Friend

I'm terrified of anything around my neck. When I first moved in, I got caught in the handle of a shopping bag and went nutz. Anyhoo, this June 2016 foto stems from the time TW tried to kill me by strangling me.  (I'll wait while you read the original post.) She threw this head band around my neck and laughed as I ran around the condo thinking I was gonna die. Then after I'd gotten free, she had the unmitigated gall to ax me to pose with it. This foto illustrates her attempting to try it on me for size.

Flashback Friday for a Friend

She also picked #7999, which is a foto fail from March 2017. One of our blogging friends made TW a pink pussy hat, which we posted about. I'm sure if you're a U.S. reader, you know the history of these hats. Aunt Pauline's politics are different from TW but as long as I'm in the foto, she'll be happy. As good as the first foto was, this one is blurry. TW claims the camera sometimes goes out of focus cos it's almost as old as she is. We don't believe that, do we? Cameras weren't yet invented when she was born.

I hope by showing her foto picks, it gives Aunt Pauline a happy. Get well soon so you can go to lunch with TW again.

Flashback Friday for a Friend

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number three.

1. My favorite subject in school was vermin catching whether it be mice or bugs. If it wasn't supposed to be in the condo, I deaded it. If anybuddy cares, TW liked English cos she always liked to write.

2. An extracurricular activity I participated in was mugging and robbing track and field. Again if anybuddy cares, TW was in chorus (hahaha) and on the school newspaper staff. OMC! I'll bet they told her to shut up!

3. I want to learn how to open my cat food. Wouldn't that be cool? I wouldn't have to wait until TW was good and ready to provide me with sustenance.

4. It takes courage to try to pet my tummy. No more commentary needed.

Flashback Friday for a Friend

My art is a little pop art piece that has been hanging in my gallery since September 2016. It's my entry in The Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to provide a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn you into a regular PiCATso.

  2. My human has a couple of friends who are going through chemo right now - one is a really good friend, and the other, although she is not as close, is a very nice young-ish woman with two daughters. And it is awful to go through. So I am sending more purrs to Aunt Pauline because know there are never enough purrs for chemo patients.

  3. LOTS of purrs to Aunt Pauline! Hey, those were good flashback photos with good stories. One of us once got caught in a shopping bag handle and yeah, we avoid those things at all costs now. Great fill-ins this week and what a stunning art photo, too!

  19. Purrs for Aunt Pauline. It's too bad that one of her photo picks was one where you nearly died, but it was nice of you to relive the trauma and not make her pick another photo. I agree, being able to open my own food would be nice, but luckily, my people are pretty good about keeping my plate full.

  25. We are sending many, many purrs and prayers to Aunt Pauline! Get well, Aunt Pauline! Those shopping bag handles are are a real nuisance, aren't they, CK? Evan tried to help the mom here unload groceries the other day and got his head stuck in one. For whatever reason, he didn't panic, but instead just walked around like he was wearing the most stunning necklace that ever existed. And if you figure out how to open your own food, CK, the kitties here said they would like lessons. Now, as for your art, we love it! It makes us want to read a comic book starring heroic CK.
