Getcha Hot Art!
Can you tell I felt like I was burning up while the a/c was on the fritz? We all did except Pop who ran off to work while we were suffering. They finally had the new condenser up and running shortly after 3 pm yesterday. That's 24 hours without a/c. Even now while I'm writing this, it's still 80 in the condo with the a/c running. Wonder how long this is gonna take to cool down.
The day before the a/c conked, I created a piece using an effect called HELL. It couldn't be more appropriate as I felt like I was in hell those 24 hours. Don't think I want to go there. Book me a room at the Rainbow Bridge when it's my time.

I think it is cool art, even though you were hot!
ReplyDeleteFlames and all it's pretty cool art. Dad's gotta deal with the non-working air conditioners here too. Mom likes keeping ours at 80 or 82, but still feels the need to throw on her sweatshirt and long furry pants. Dad says she's crazy, or showing signs of hot flashes or something like that. Lucky for him mom doesn't read the comments he shares here!
ReplyDeleteWell, that certainly was some prescient art, CK!
ReplyDeleteOH we are so glad you got your A/C back! Great artwork CK!
ReplyDeleteVery powerful art depicting what you went through for those hot 24 hours! Glad AC is back, CK..hope it cools down your condo quickly!

ReplyDeleteYou look very... flaming, CK, no wonder why you're feeling so hot ;) Cool Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday :) <3
ReplyDeleteWe really like the second art piece. It's something different. So happy your a/c is fixed and hope it cools down quickly. We feel your pain. Dad just came home from a trip to CVS. The temp in his car said 102 degrees. Yeeesh! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
ReplyDeleteWe always like your art, CK. And we know how you felt when it was so hot at your place.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still so hot; I'd part my butt on a vent!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you finally have AC again. Hopefully, the temperatures are back to cool again. We love your artwork!
ReplyDeleteLovely art, CK. Flynn always told me he thought you were hot, and I can see what he meant.

It's our opinion that most summers are hell on earth! You'll definitely be going to the Rainbow Bridge, CK...just wait many more years to make the trip, okay?
ReplyDeleteI am glad your a/c is back, I was worrying about you in this heat without it. Very cool art- I mean great job reflecting how hot you were :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully you're cooling down by now CK, but your art is hot fur sure!
ReplyDeleteThat's some cool art...for being so hot, CK. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat art and yes, we would agree that too much heat in summer just feels like burning in hell.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling cooler.

That art is hot, hot, hot! But also cool. I hope it does not reflect your actual body temperature! :)
ReplyDeleteWell the art work is hot but we hope you have cooled down now. We are lucky that if our A/C conks out the service people usually get it fixed the same day and we can hang out on the back porch while they do. We really learned to appreciate electricity and all the wonders it provides after Katrina. A/C was one of them.
ReplyDeleteLife without a/c certainly is hellish. I'm glad yours is working again.
ReplyDeleteWow! That really is HOT art...
ReplyDeleteHave a super Sunday!
