My name is Keisha and I’m semi feral. I’m wild, energetic and I play for keeps. I love to run. I get zoomies 3-4 times per day. I run an obstacle course: leaping over toys and furniture in my way; running through two tunnels; jumping from the top of one cat tree to the other then dashing behind the sofa to start all over. I’m the Queen of my

What’s so strange about that CK? you may ax. This month I’ll be celebrating my 10th Gotcha Day. I’m a senior cat. The rescue wasn’t clear about how old I was when I was gotted—anywhere from six months to a year and a half. You do the math. The peeps have never had such an active senior cat and conversely, they’ve never fed their cats the healthy food I eat. All their other cats ate “junk” food from the supermarket because the peeps really didn’t know any better.
What does this little ghetto kitteh eat? At first I resisted all the grain-free “hippie” food that TW placed in front of me. I turned my nose up at the fruits and vegetables in some hoity toity brands of premium cat food. Then TW brought home some Natural Balance® from the first Blogpaws® conference she attended in 2011. I loved it! Now we’re both glad we can buy Natural Balance at PetSmart®. We’ve tried the LID Salmon & Peas and some of the nommy Platefuls but this cat’s favorite is the Wild Pursuit line of kibble. Why wouldn’t it be?

Did I mention I’m a partly feral cat? I attack the humans early and often. Even though I do it for fun, they say it hurts and sometimes I even draw blood. That’s why I enjoy Wild Pursuit™ cat food. It was formulated to satisfy my ancestral cravings by closely resembling the diet I would have eaten in the wild. Even after being indoors for 10 years, I still fancy myself as a tiger or panther and it’s those times I see Pop’s foot or TW’s wrist as prey.
If you’ve been reading this far, you’d know I am a unique cat with a unique personality. Natural Balance knows this. They employ people with nutritional and veterinary degrees on their customer support team to help cat staff find the best products for their cats’ life style and health concerns.
The Wild Pursuit line of cat food contains high protein, a hunnert percent grain-free nutrition from a balanced blend of three premium protein sources. Trust me, you’ll love those little freeze dried morsels in the kibble. I like them so much I pick them out and place them on the rug to eat them. I pretend I caught them and am tearing into them. It makes me feel wild and adventurous. There are no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. I’ve tried both the Chicken, Turkey Meal & Quail and the Trout, Salmon Meal & Tuna formulas. The Chicken, Turkey Meal & Quail formula is totally free of fish so it’s safe for cats with fish allergies.
With 35 varieties including dry and canned food for cats, your domesticated wild cat should find a couple that they like. There are many different proteins to satisfy a rotational diet. Every single Natural Balance product is backed by a Buy With Confidence guarantee to ensure our health and safety. Each production run is tested in their Burbank, CA, state-of-the-art laboratory for nine contaminants before being distributed to stores.
Inside every domesticated house cat, there’s a panther waiting to come out. ROAR! I think I feel another round of ZOOMIES coming on! Catch me if you dare!

I just want to say, I'm the opposite of semi-feral and I've liked this food too! And it didn't make me into a wildcat. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a tasty food for the little wild animal in you!
ReplyDeleteI guess you are just about the same age as Callie is. She also runs around the house like you. She's had some of these canned noms, but not the dry yet. I'm due to go to PetSmart this week and she's due for a new bag of food. Will have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteWild Pursuit sounds pretty yummy to me CK!
ReplyDeleteAs Brian said, Wild Pursuit does sound yummmy. M said she might have to try that one. We have never tried Natural Balance. We are both the same age and you are about 6 times more active than I am. I get the zoomies about 2-3 times a week, if I'm lucky.
ReplyDeleteCK,it is hard to believe that you injure your folks. I have a few cats that do that too. My cats like the venison natural balance.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good food. Purrs

ReplyDeleteYou certainly are young looking CK. Mom says she wouldn't mind trying the wet but we'll stay with our Siamese Kibble mixed with Kali's Hypoallergenic HP Soy. You never mentioned the size of the kibble. We have small mouths so these big crumbles don't go over big. By the picture of you chowing down on the kibble, they look like they are kitty sized.
ReplyDeleteVery good review CK.
Shoko
Hoping you have many, many wild years ahead of you!!!
ReplyDeleteWow CK I wonder if it would bring out a wild side in me? I'm so meek and mild!
ReplyDeleteIf that stuff makes you roar, we want some!
ReplyDeleteThat is some great stalking! Good review!
ReplyDeleteOur mom loves that there are a lot of Natural Balance formulas that have no fish in them because we cannot eat any fish. We love the Wild Pursuit canned noms lots!! We are glad you are enjoying your kibble. :)
