A Stunning Fall Frame

This week’s 52 Snapshots theme is Framed. As a little ghetto kitteh, I’ve been framed so many times I’ve lost count. I’ve been framed by TW but mostly by HHGutt. It seems whenever he bites one of the peeps, I get blamed for it. Seriously, for the first four years I was in this condo, every time I heard a po po car go by with sirens blaring, I’d yell “I didn’t do it” and hide. I don’t really have snapshots to show all this so I picked a nice Fall frame and used a pic where I look innocent. Then I added an October calendar for extra credit.

Here’s another interpretation of frame. We have many framed pieces of art in the condo. Most of it isn’t even cats. TW picked this one cos there’s a story behind it. Just like the original birthday balloons, she found it in the Refuse Room. Don’t go thinking she’s some kinda dumpster diver, she doesn’t go through people’s trash. Every once in a while, there’s something lying on top that makes her happy. She’s pays it forward by putting things out that are gone an hour later. One persons trash is another’s treasure. Unfortunately, we’ve been told we can’t put anything in the Refuse Room that’s not recyclable paper or plastic/glass.

Thanks to Christina and The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge this week and every week throughout 2015. For those who would like to participate, next week’s theme is Animal. I’m not an animal so I may have to feature the peeps.

For the art blog hop, I used some totally cool Photoshop actions on the same framed Fall image as the lead pic only without the calendar. Both were made with the Paint Pro 3 action but for the second one I took a few step backwards and like the way it looked.

If they look the same to you, I left them larger so you can click to biggify them. I tried another frame but I just love the effects on this pic so much. It looks like I’m lying outside in the Fall folliage. Are you excited that Fall is upon us and it will soon be the holidays?

Thanks to Athena and Marie for hosting the pawsome Caturday Art Blog Hop every week. Without it, TW would still be clueless about photoshop. Stop by the see some creative anipals strutting their newest art images.

  1. As long as you are in the frame and not framed all is just fine....

  2. Happy fall, CK! Although I'm not really sure what fall is, considering that California has only two colors: green and brown... and because we have this drought, it's mostly brown all year round!
