The Hungry Little CK in A Pumpkin Patch

Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! review

I’m happy to announce we have a brand new sponsor: Chewy.com. We are late to the pawty cos we’re non-conformists but we recently placed our first order with them. The customer service and everything else was outstanding. They make you want to order from them.

My first review is for Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! Supplement. This is totally a natural for me since I love Weruva’s food with pumpkin soup except this isn’t pumpkin soup, it’s puree. Heh. Lemme give you the 411 on this product and then tell you how you can win a box to try it from Chewy.com.

Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! contains only two ingredients (pumpkin and water for processing) and is BPA and gluten-free. The soluble and insoluble fibers support healthy gut mortality motility and stool quality. It’s pureed for easy mixing and you can put any left over in the refrigerator.

Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! review
There really IS a pumpkin patch on Pop’s bed!

This supplement is for both cats and woofies so everyone can benefit. TW originally started buying Weruva foods with pumpkin soup to get more liquids into me since I never drink water. But she soon found out it had other benefits to me. As you may or may not know, pumpkin is very important for your cat cos it helps keep us regular. No cat wants to have their anal glands expressed, do they? I’ll let you in on a secret but this is between you and me. I don’t want it blabbed all over the interwebs. Before I started drinking their pumpkin soup, my stools were like dry and hard little marbles that would come out every three days. Pumpkin has worked wonders for my digestion and elimination. I no long have any problems in that department. What’s more, it’s good if you have the squirts too. Pumpkin is like a miracle supplement for cats and dogs.

Listen to this if you’re on a diet: According to PetMD, since pumpkin contains fiber and fiber gives you a feeling of being full, it may help with weight loss. Replace a small portion of your food with pumpkin and you’ll feel full and satisfied plus you’ll lose that extra poundage.

Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! review

Pumpkin contains moisture and can help keep you hydrated especially if you eat a lot of kibble. It contains Vitamin C and carotenoids which could have anticancer properties. What could be wrong with a delicious food that aids digestive health, urinary health and aids in weight loss?

Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! review
Did I eat it? Not too much. TW didn’t mix it in so you could
see it’s real pumpkin puree.

Chewy.com was kind enough to let me offer one of my readers a box of 12 1.05 oz. pouches of Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up! This giveaway is open to dogs and cats who are US residents only and  whose humans are over 18 (void where prohibited by law). FTC disclaimer: I received a box of the supplement and a box to give away in exchange for my honest review, but Stunning Keisha only shares products I believe it. Receiving the product didn’t influence my opinions. No one puts words into this ghetto kitteh’s mouth.

  1. My human is SO lax about getting pumpkin for us (well, mainly it's Binga who needs it), so it would be awesome to win these!

  2. We don't get pumpkin all of the time, so these sound super-convenient instead of worrying about getting entire cans of pumpkin that would only be partially used.

  3. Sounds like the perfect thing to keep on hand for those little dietary indiscretions.

  4. This is such a nice convenience! What a wonderful giveaway. You look so cute in your pumpkin patch, CK.

  5. We used to buy the organic pumpkin in the can for Abby and mix it in with her food because well manx usually have digestion problems. This is really interesting and Mom would love to try it especially now that Boo is having anal glands 'issues'. She hated having them expressed and was HISSED OFF when the Vet did that to her. Poor girl.

  6. I love this. Pumpkin is a favourite of Kali's. Most food is a favourite of Kali's. MOL I would have liked to enter and give it to an American friend. We probably won't see this little gem for several months.

  7. This would be pawesome to get for we kitties need more moisture since we're not big drinkers and our woofie sister would benefit as she's on a diet. Winning would be catabulous but either way our human will buy some. Thanks for sharing!

  10. I have given pumpkin to the dogs occasionally, and they really like it and I know it's good for them. I didn't know it was good for cats too though!
We actually have some of this coming from chewy as well, and I'm very curious to see if our picky cat Sam will eat it or not.

  16. You look cute peeping over the pumpkin. I wish this was available in the UK. as pumpkin products are very hard to come by here.
As you were brave and said you had little hard marble poops, I will also be brave and admit I get the squirts at least 50% of the time. My mum is sure it is because the locum vet gave me that convenia shot a year ago when I was already weak from a bad reaction to antibiotics.

  17. *sigh* I don't suppose you could use your undoubted influence to persuade Chewy to come to the UK could you? I am desperate for pumpkin!! ;) xoxox
